You wouldn't believe me if I told you.:nono:
Why would we doubt you if you tell us? :idunno:
Give us a try!
You wouldn't believe me if I told you.:nono:
Could you explain your reasoning on this one?I oppose:
Direct election of US senators
Well, the scriptures are completely in line with my position.
What's a believer to do?
Economic Left/Right: -2.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.64
So, slightly to the left and more pronouncedly Libertarian than I would have thought.
Like many that vote democrat, I think you are confused.
As traditional conservatives go in America, which is not clearly defined, I prefer to just be right wing.
For example, many believe in the bizarre concept of "state rights". They have delegated authority, not rights.
Check out what you are, here:

I'm closer to Ghandi than any of the others; slightly left, libertarian.
It's strange the way conservatives who call for "limited government" always seem to want unlimited power for the government to interfere in our private lives. Some limited governemnt !
Take abortion. Conservatives who oppose abortion and would like to see it outlawed don't realize that enforcing the law would cost billions of dollars and be an egregious violation of our privacy.
It will be awfully difficult to find those who perform illegal abortions and prosecute them. As well as to keep women from seeking and obtaining them.
And impossible to stop the poorest women from trying to abort themselves. Will the government appoint a huge force of anti-abortion agents to scour every corner of America 24/7 to make sure that no abortions are taking place? Will it put up blockades at every border and airport and examine every woman of childbearing age for pregnancy just in case she might be trying to go abroad for an abortion?
And if contraceptives become illegal how will we stop the inevitable black market in illegal contraceptives? Remember prohibition? How successful and effective was that?
And what about the rights of homosexuals? Will we put up surveillance cameras everywhere and arrest, prosecute, imprison and possibly execute those caught in the act?
Limited government my foot !!!!
As to conservatives who are opposed to pornography, wghat happens if all men's magazines become illegal, etc. Will we have the government go into evewry one's home to confiscate these things,as well as pornographic films etc?

Odd, isn't it? I hit:
Economic Left/Right: -3.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.77
...which basically makes me an economic loony. Whatever, let God's kingdom come, and then see which way I voted!!
Could you explain your reasoning on this one?
I've takem that test many times before. Some of the questions are wacky.
Here is my result. (I'm in the blue)
Economic Left/Right: 4.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.97
Sure, but I might have to make you wait a day or two.
I'm not sure, but I think you and I are the only two who oppose direct elections on senators.
So if I may I wouldn't mind explaining it. Albeit it might be a tad different than how you feel about it.
