In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Rather interesting that it comes from the Book of Beginnings.
John 1:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
Before God created the universe (Genesis 1:1), the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit fellowshipped with one another within the Godhead for all of eternity past.
Before God created the universe (Genesis 1:1), the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit fellowshipped with one another within the Godhead for all of eternity past.
John 1:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
So God existed first, then his express image Son came to be before the "beginning".
That would make the express image firstborn then.

That's not what I said. That's not what I said at all.
I said that God (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) existed for eternity past, the three Persons fellowshipping with each other within the Godhead.
Keypurr, You believe that the Son only indwelled flesh, that the body prior to the indwelling was someone else's body?
Where did he word come from?
If the Son is the image of the Father, he must have come into existence after the Father.
The point being, the Father always was, but the Son was not.
So what is the original beginning, the creation of the Son or the creation of the worlds?
God created all through the Son.
If the Son is the image of the Father, he must have come into existence after the Father. The Holy Spirit comes from the Father.

You tell me. Connect the dots between Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1-3
If he is an image he had to a creation.
Are you saying that he is not the express image of his God?

The Holy Spirit comes from the Father.[/QUOTE]Why must he have come into existence?
The Bible clearly states that He is God, and it clearly states that God has always existed. Why must the Son have been created or come into existence? What verse says that?
