God's Truth

New member
I say you only know half of what Jesus' message was, because that's the only part of the Bible you pay attention to.

It is better than what you do. You think Jesus did all that teaching and just threw it out later and said just believe and do nothing else. Jesus plainly says to do what he says and not just hearers. Jesus plainly says you are a friend IF you do what he commands.

Nope, your gospel is half truth, not the whole truth.

What part of "Paul's message comes from Jesus Himself" do you not understand?

It is shown by not trusting Jesus' teaching as conditional for salvation.

So you're saying that what Jesus said during his ministry is how to get saved? You're saying that to get saved you must keep the whole Law?

You cannot get away with your half truth gospel.

Again, I'm the one who uses the whole Bible, while Meshak only uses 4 of the 66 books.

You may fool the world but you cannot mock God.

You want to know what I've noticed, Meshak?

NOT ONCE have you used scripture to back up your position, yet I'm providing scripture left and right to back up mine.

On that alone, I'd have to say you're not very Christlike, for even Jesus gave scripture to back up His position.

It is better than what you do. You think Jesus did all that teaching and just threw it out later and said just believe and do nothing else.

Let me be clear. I DO NOT think that Jesus threw out any teaching.

I DO think that Jesus' plan for Israel was put on hold, and that He changed his timing on his plan for the Gentiles (hence Paul's conversion).

Actually, I not only think that, I know it, because that's what the Bible says.

He threw nothing out, just changed things around. See the parable of the barren fig tree.

Also:

*I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. *God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, *“Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? *But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” *Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. *And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.*What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. - Romans 11:1-7 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans11:1-7&version=Nkjv

Why did God put a hold on His plan for Israel, and cut them off (if only temporarily), and graft in the Gentiles?

Because:

*I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. *Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!*For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, *if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. *For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?*For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. *And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, *do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.*You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” *Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. *For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. *Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. *And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. *For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?*For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. *And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;*For this is My covenant with them,When I take away their sins.”*Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. *For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. *For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, *even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. *For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.*Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!*“For who has known the mind of the Lord?Or who has become His counselor?”*“Or who has first given to HimAnd it shall be repaid to him?”*For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. - Romans 11:11-36 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans11:11-36&version=NKJV

Jesus plainly says to do what he says and not just hearers.

Post the verse and we'll look at context so that we can understand what is being said.

Jesus plainly says you are a friend IF you do what he commands.

Again, post the verse for context.

I'm glad you've finally admitted that. This is a big step for you. Huge.

Nah......Easily done. My pride detector is in good working order. It goes to clanging whenever I hear something like this, "I know Jesus' wisdom thoroughly." Even if it was Meshak's mirror image that wrote it.

I agree many of how they read the Bible.

I respect their faith because they honor Jesus' word and strive to be like Jesus.

they practice what they preach. the are not lip servers like many other churches.

that is good enough for me to trust their faith.

See? Team Meshak is JW missionaries here to preach Watchtower doctrine while denying it's Watchtower doctrine. They know if they self identify as JW they get shut out. So almost every post they make is a lie. They're liars and of Satan.

BTW, my comment is not conventional. So you don't hear it often.
We hear it all the time how the worker bees rely on their own righteousness and obedience

I can do that because I know Jesus' wisdom thoroughly:)
If that were even remotely true you would not reject GOD's appointed ministry He gave to us through the apostle Paul.

Is. 14:14) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High'

Ezekiel 28:17) “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;

Gen. 3:5) For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

that is good enough for me to trust their faith.

As usual, you disregard Jesus' word of "we know them by their fruit".

Because I cannot know your life outside of this forum I would like to ask what kind of fruit have you produced today? Have you done anything to help the least of these?* Have YOU offered anything to your God other than lipservice? Have you done ANYTHING AT ALL to be the hands and feet of our God Jesus Messiah? Have you humbled yourself and put yourself last today like the gospel says?

"But they were silent, for on the way they had been arguing with each other which of them was the greatest. Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be the last of all and the servant of all.'" - Mark 9:34-35

Have you been a PEACEMAKER today like the Bible says?
* Matthew 5:9 - "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

What have you done for others today other than be a huge HYPOCRITE by attempting to discredit good men and women of God by pretending you know ANYTHING AT ALL about them by telling them they do not do good work in this world and by telling them they are not good God-fearing,* God-serving Christians JUST because they believe the Bible when it tells* them many times that the Father, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit have been the only God for all eternity and created the world Ex-Nihlo?
*James 3:17 - "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy."

*JudgeRigntly just offerex you peace and a new leaf to start on to go back to having an open, honest and generous CONVERSATION and EXCHANGE with you but what did you do about it?* What have you done other than cast away the man who just humbled himself before you by reaching out an olive branch of PEACE, JUST AS THE Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ told him to do?
*Psalms 34:14 - "Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it."
