He is the perfect, stainless Lamb of God, the human sacrifice for mankind. By man sin came into the world and by man sin will be overcome. My friend, how does His blood redeem us?
That... does not answer the question. He is the perfect, stainless Lamb of God, the human sacrifice for mankind. By man sin came into the world and by man sin will be overcome.

The blood of a stainless Lamb was required to atone for the sins of the people in the OT.
Why do you think it's a metaphor?
end times that are to happen shortly...What does it stand for if it is a metaphor? What does it represent, given the context of what's going on?
no of course not...but I don't expect Him to use Kleenex on every tear...Do you think John was lying when he said that God will "wipe away all our tears"?
It is in the scriptures, so you have to believe it.
We die a physical death but spirits do not die.

Jesus was perfect and sinlessYou say He is perfect. No mere man is perfect and sinless.
Romans 3:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
It's all symbolic my friend. That is what religion is.But surely you don't think it was the actual blood itself that had the power...these sacrifices were sign and symbols and not to be ascribed true power...that is idolatry...
That idea makes them lock up the bread of the host so others don't steal it for "nefarious" reasons...lol
As symbolic it was however very real by its testimony of one's faith and obedience to do that which was expected in by the symbolic act...
We can't wash away sin...or place it on a goat...some uncleanliness was made clean by the sun going down...
Circumcision NEVER saved...nor did baptism but as symbols they were provided for believers to show and testify and do...to worship as they were created to do...obedience brings its own comfort...and joy...He completes it
By obeying these rituals outlined by Him as HIS we are given assurance...such grace...
But again it is not the actual literal blood...just like it is not the literal temple...or literal ground that is holy...flesh profits NOTHING...but the words He speaks are Spirit...LIFE
Can't wait to hear Him say them Himself instead of just reading them...
It's all symbolic my friend. That is what religion is.

Not to worry, I got good backup. CHRIST.Ok good...but not to some of these people up in here...
To some of them they ascribe power to things no longer spirit filled...by magic or mystery...and then deny it to that which remains to sanctify us...
Nothing new I guess...but you had me worried there at the blood thingy...lots of people get literal over flesh and blood...lineage temple and land
And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
Consider that Jesus was not the first born. The scriptures speak of a son before the world was made. That would put into question what is really implied by firstborn. If Jesus is the first born of God, which He is, but we have obviously different definitions of firstborn, why did God the Father say this,
Any takers?
Hope I do not disappoint you friend.Lol..ok...
Me too...but if I stumble brother, is why I expect Him to send you...
