If Jesus is the first born of God, which He is, but we have obviously different definitions of firstborn, why did God the Father say this,

Any takers?

Col.1:15. who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto(into) him; 17and he is before all things, and in him all things consist. 18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Rev.1:5. and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood;

Is.65:17. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Col.1:18 who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;

Rev.1:5. the firstborn of the dead,

Ex.4:22 “Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Israel is My son, My firstborn.

Jer.31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

All in the Body of Christ.

Col.1:18 who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;

Peace.

I agree. But no mere man is sinless. who is He?

Ps.51:5. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Rom.7:18. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Heb.2:10. For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11For both he that sanctifieth and they that are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

12saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, In the midst of the congregation will I sing thy praise.

Mk.10:17. And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

2Cor.5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Rom.8:3. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Heb.9:27. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Ps.51:5. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Jesus was born into sin.

Peace.

Silly? No...

It's the innernutz after all and silliness abounds...however, may He lead...

His opinion matters...I try and remain mindful of that...

HalleluYah

...and I do not care one bit about what you think of me. So why do you try to insult me?

Our physical body dies. How do you ever get that isn't dying?

Oh my...Of course this is dying...our physical body dies turns into dust and the spirit returns to its Giver...

The Soul sleeps...nothing is conscious all is at rest...asleep...until the trumpet wakes

Then stop saying it isn't dying when our body dies.

The Soul sleeps...nothing is conscious all is at rest...asleep...until the trumpet wakes

The soul is a body with a spirit. According to your ignorant beliefs, our body and spirit are in the ground when we die.

The Trinity is the Godhead of Christianity- stop denying Christ's Lordship and Deity :plain:

Prove it with scripture.

A lot of us want to see what you see.

We see no Trinity in scripture, if we need enlightment, give it to us.
