The "sin ladder"? What kind of a nut are you? All true believers...those who have assurance of salvation....have been created IN CHRIST Jesus. It's why we have perfect PEACE and fullness of JOY. (Have you heard of that? You sure don't preach it. You preach fear and doubt and your own specialness.) :nono:
Being born of the Spirit means we are new creatures and all things are new (even our desires). :duh: You don't know that, which is why you are so worried about not abiding, and why you preach it's our ability to abide that will earn us salvation. Not good. In fact, it's down right spitting on the cross to even speak of it.
There is no "going up and down" on the "sin ladder" for the spiritual man. We go around and around, hour by hour, day by day, season by season, year in and year out wearing a deep groove in the paths (cycles) of righteousness. After all, we are HIS workmanship (not our own). He makes us to will and to do His good pleasure. Like that ditch at the grain mill the "yoked" oxen wear so deep, it's a rut....it comes so natural to us we don't have to worry and obsess about whether we are able to "abide in Christ" or not, because HE abides in us. That's the Comforter...who abides in us FOREVER. That's the Good News.....the COMFORTER....He's called that for a reason. You know, that one you don't actually know because you are stuck on the wrong side of the cross, and He came AFTER the cross?

Sorry, your doctrine throws out too much Scripture and casts a pall on obedience to Yeshua for love of Him. It casts a pall on all who pick up their cross every day to follow Him. There is no wrong side of the Cross, Glorydaz because followers of Yeshua are under the Cross and it is defined by obedience and faithfulness to Him. No one in Yeshua worries and stresses over the leading of the Ruach. You keep wanting so much to put obedience under the Law. It's not there anymore just as we are not there anymore.

And there you go AGAIN with the old rhetoric. The obedience that comes from the leading of the Ruach has nothing to do with trying to establish what only Yeshua could. Obedience that comes from the leading of the Ruach IS righteousness from God.
