Glory, would you mind including some actual rational content with your put-down post? Scan as I might, there's nothing there that you said that actually means anything.

The ironic part is that you are objecting to my plea that if one must oppose someone else, that their accusations actually make sense (so that they might be productively acted upon.) You obviously didn't get the point.

So good to hear you say that. I have been putting up with their verbal attacks for years and trying to get them to keep talking about the Bible and not verbally abuse. They then come back with every scripture they can find where someone was called a snake.

Well, you can't get away with adding your obedience to Christ's work on the cross.

YOU are not that ONE.

Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Jesus obeyed and you have someone to obey.

His words are Spirit and life.

He is the Way.

If you do what the Creator of the Universe says, then you can be sure you will receive what He says.

I have not said anything about Michael on any of these posts in this thread. Do you bring that up to dodge answering any questions? What in my post do you find objectionable? IN MY POST (#9794).

Already answered. That you are attributing the words of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to Michael the Archangel as your doctrine teaches that Jesus is Michael the Archangel. Your Jesus is not my Jesus.

You and I do not worship the same Jesus.
You worship Michael the Archangel and I worship God incarnate; therefore, you should cite the words of your Michael the Archangel.

When someone says for a long time now, that a UNbeliver must OBEY to be saved
I have told you repeatedly that it is for unbelievers who want to be saved and for believers who want to be saved.

and keeps on saying that she obeys ALL of Jesus' commands, when that is impossible, I will not let that go.

I do obey everything Jesus says. What do you think is acceptable to not obey? Why don't you answer that?

It is not bickering. This for me is a salvific issue. Meaning if a UNbeliever can already obey the Lord without knowing Him, that person does not need to hear the Gospel of the Lord;
Only those who obey God know God. I gave you many scriptures that explain that to you. We don't have to understand the scriptures before we obey God; understanding comes AFTER you obey God. Just ask me for the scriptures if you don't recognize the truth.
therefore condemned that person to hell by the one saying that she obeys ALL of Jesus' commands.

When I say something in a sarcastic way, I usually will say 'sarcasm' or I'll put one of the emojis I was given (that is if my brain remembers where I saved them). You just reminded me of something -- find them, just in case I use sarcasm or I also use  :D:  :idunno:, etc.
Don't use sarcasm at all. And don't use the smilies. You talk about people going to hell and you use sarcasm and emojis. That is not appropriate.

If there is a word I really do not understand, I usually use a dictionary.

Your explanation about Canada laws makes sense to me and I would not bother you with that at all. Now, if you said, "I, Rosenritter, obey ALL of Canada's laws' then I would repeatedly tell you that you do not. However, your case would not be a salvific one for me and I probably would say it once and leave at that. gt's case is different.

gt, really believes that a UNbeliever can obey Jesus without knowing Jesus. Check.

Lean not on your own understanding...

Do you understand what that means?

If we are told not to go by our understanding, that means you do not have to understand!

She will parrot again that she obeys ALL of Jesus' commands in the few next posts.

What gt says, for me, at least for me, is a salvific issue and it must be reproved,

Your anger is not the righteousness of God; neither is your verbal abuse.

James 1:20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

for a UNbeliever cannot and will not OBEY the Lord and desperately needs to hear the Gospel pointing to the Savior and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary. You can ask gt's testimony of salvation and judge for yourself.

No one here knows my testimony besides the fact that I always believed in God and Jesus and was not saved until I obeyed.

You ADD to Jesus' finished work of the Cross of Calvary.

Really, gt? The lost sheep of Israel had repented already giving the Lord the permission to come looking for the already saved UNbeliever lost sheep of Israel. Really, gt? Really?

Jesus wouldn't come until they repented.

John 1:23 John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, "I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.'"

John the baptizer prepared the way for Jesus. He came preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins (Luke 1:76-80).

What is the vehicle of obedience in Romans 16:26?

Also, did you notice that all of the verses that you quoted that said "obey, obey, obey" are not from Paul, yet Paul is the only one who says faith?

You look to divide where there is no division. Paul taught the same gospel as the Twelve Apostles to the Lamb.

Acts 20:21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

Acts 26:20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles also, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.

Did you read that?

You said Paul did not preach that. Paul said he preached it to all.

I have told you repeatedly that it is for unbelievers who want to be saved and for believers who want to be saved.

A BEliever does not want to be saved. He/she is ALREADY saved. Get a grip, gt, please.

No you do not! It matters not that you vociferously proclaims that you do. Scriptures CONTRADICT you.

One more time, Scripture contradicts your doctrine of UNbeliever has to obey before God can save.

Don't use sarcasm at all.

Last time I looked you’re not the boss of me.

And don't use the smilies.

Last time I checked you’re not the boss of me.

You talk about people going to hell and you use sarcasm and emojis. That is not appropriate.

What???? What foolishness did you drink this morning?

Lean not on your own understanding...

Do you understand what that means?

If we are told not to go by our understanding, that means you do not have to understand!

What foolishness are you drinking today, gt?

Oh, cool, someone tells me ‘go jump the bridge’ and I do not have to understand it. Got it.

Your anger is not the righteousness of God; neither is your verbal abuse.

The only angry one between you and I is you, gt.

James 1:20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

He is right.

No one here knows my testimony besides the fact that I always believed in God and Jesus and was not saved until I obeyed.

Obeyed what, gt, when you never then HEARD the Gospel of the glorious salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Why do you say "the already saved" when Jesus clearly said, "He that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved"? (Matthew 10:22; Matthew 24:13)

We have to have a life-long record of obedience.

We are saved now and must keep obeying to stay saved.

Saved

Acts 15:11
No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Ephesians 2:5
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

2 Timothy 1:9
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

Titus 3:5
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

Luke 19:9
Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

2 Corinthians 6:2
For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

Philippians 2:12
[ Do Everything Without Grumbling ] Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,

1 Peter 2:2
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

1 John 5:20
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Being Saved

1 Corinthians 1:18
[ Christ Crucified Is God’s Power and Wisdom ] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

2 Corinthians 2:15
For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

1 Corinthians 15:2
By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

Will be saved

Matthew 10:22
You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Matthew 24:13
but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Jesus also says to obey. How is it you ignore all the 'obey' scriptures for the 'believe' scriptures?

Faith alone is dead and cannot save anyone.
And you're following marching orders that no longer apply from the Bible. These are the marching orders you should be following. These are the orders that are given to you. The orders you keep saying you're under were not even intended for you, why do you follow them?

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. - Romans 3:19-20 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans3:19-20&version=NKJV

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. - Romans 3:21-26 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans3:21-26&version=NKJV

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law. - Romans 3:27-31 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans3:27-31&version=NKJV

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. - Romans 5:1-2 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans5:1-2&version=NKJV

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. - Romans 5:9-11 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans5:9-11&version=NKJV

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. - Romans 6:14 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans6:14&version=NKJV

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:15-23 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans6:15-23&version=NKJV

All talking to already saved ones.

Jesus says if.

What don't you get about if?

Is this clearer for you:

…unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven; Matthew 5:32.
…unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven; Matthew 18:3.
…unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart; Matthew 18:35.
…unless you repent, you too will all perish; Luke 13:3.
… unless they are born of water and the Spirit; John 3:5.
Unless I wash you, you have no part with me; John 13:8.
…unless it dies; 1 Corinthians 15:36.

Did you read that?

YOU. WILL. NEVER. ENTER. UNLESS.

When we are saved, we have entered the kingdom.

John's baptism led up to repentance and the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 3:11).

Jesus' baptism made people followers of Christ (John 3:22-30).

Two different baptisms.

People who had been baptized by John were baptized again into Jesus' baptism (John 4:1-2).

Much later Paul runs across twelve men who had been baptized by John, but not into Jesus' baptism (Acts 19:1-5).

Jesus was on the earth, the most important time ever, and he had disciples who followed him, who helped preach the gospel, and the rich man did not want to do that.
You have no understanding because you follow teachings of men and not God.

Why don't you obey, GT?

Does the second man who was next to Jesus on the cross know God? Jesus told him that that day he would be in paradise. Yet he had no works. Was Jesus lying?
That thief on the cross did what Jesus says we have to do to get saved.

The thief feared God; admitted his sins and confessed; he acknowledged Jesus before others; and he called on Jesus to save him.

Would you like the scriptures?

Blind faith isn't what God wants.

That is what you said to the scripture from God.

You clearly don't know what righteous anger is...
What did you obey to obtain salvation?
How is it you do not know when I have been posting it for years?
Start by fearing God and humbling yourself by repenting of your sins.
