No, God is a God who risks. He knew it was a possibility for His creation to rebel against Him, so He made a backup plan, but He created us anyways, knowing that if they should rebel, He had a backup plan to redeem His creation.

And it's because he loved us that He wants to save us.
There are two ways of reading what you wrote:
"[He saved] [what was created for His pleasure]"
And
"[He saved ... for His pleasure] [what was created]"
Which way did you intend to say it?
So God didn't send His Son to die on the cross to save us because He loved us?
