He lives in those who believe exclusively in Him and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary.

You have NOT obeyed ALL His commands as you have many times when asked, said that 'hmmm... nah, hmmm.... no that commandment is not for gt.'

However, you vociferously keeps on demanding, almost furiously, that we must OBEY ALL His commands, however, you have not set the example of what you demand.

John 14:23 – Jesus talking about what He speaks is based on love, which is the exact opposite of what the Apostles were saying, which was force. They wanted Jesus to use His Power to force Rome and other people of the world to recognize Israel as the premier nation. Jesus is saying that His manifestation of Himself was to the heart, was inward and spiritual, therefore, the heart enjoying His abiding in it.

Acts 5:32 – Their Doctrine was NOT a mere philosophy, rather eyewitness accounts. The witness of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of Believers guarantees the veracity of all that Christ has done at the Cross.

As I have said to you many times – take the verse out of its original context and a pretext is being promoted.

Jesus lives in those who obey.

John 14:23.

Hopefully, you who demand that ALL of Jesus' commands must be obeyed and do not set the example, have included yourself in that so-called righteousness.

Like Paul, "No, I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified"

Hopefully, you are following His example.

Did you include Satan in your dissertation?

Satan, like many humans, they refuse to obey, or just haven't tried.

Paul says that people try harder to work out and get muscles and endurance when they work out vigorously for a physical race than work at getting rid of sin.

You can't put that same work out for the Lord?

1 Corinthians 9:25 Everyone who competes in the games trains with strict discipline. They do it for a crown that is perishable, but we do it for a crown that is imperishable. 26 Therefore I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight like I am beating the air. 27No, I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

Not quite true about Satan, for at one time he did obey until he looked at himself. That was his downfall. That is the downfall of humankind rejecting to look at Christ Jesus and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary and putting their eyes on themselves.

Paul says that people try harder to work out and get muscles and and endurance when they work out vigorously for a physical race.

Yes. He wasn't talking about TO BE SAVED though.

You can't put that same work out for the Lord?

TO BE SAVED?

TO BE SAVED?

Jesus is the Way. His words are life. You will not get that life unless you obey.

You go against me for saying we are to obey, yet you say you have faith.

Tell me, isn't having faith obeying?

Now make that faith alive with obedience, just as Jesus says.

Good example for Believers.

Incorrect. You, gt, say that you have TO OBEY for salvation, which is contrary to what Jesus commands.

Tell me, isn't having faith obeying?

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now make that faith alive with obedience, just as Jesus says.

You cannot OBEY the one you do not BELIEVE in first.

People here are so blind, they go against me for saying we have to obey, they start out by saying no we only have to have faith. As time goes by in the debate, they start to say but but but believers do obey.

Then stop going against me for saying we have to obey!

They then go into their next false defense of, "We do not have to obey, we want to obey." All the while, they continue to go against me for saying we have to obey!

They themselves were forced to admit that we are to obey. They themselves say we are NOT saved if we are NOT obeying. That MEANS we HAVE TO OBEY to be saved!

You and I have gone through this ad nauseum.

There is not one time that Jesus said that we have to obey anything TO BE SAVED.
There are many times where Jesus said that we MUST BELIEVE; otherwise, a UNbeliever will not be saved.

First, BELIEVE, then the Holy Spirit comes in and shows us what to OBEY. You, gt, have it the other way around.

You, gt, demand vociferously that a UNbeliever has to OBEY, when a UNbeliever has no idea what to obey.

One can believe before they obey, and one can obey before they believe.

Get real.

I'm sorry.... What?

That presupposes that GOD made a mistake.

Is that your belief?

No, God is a God who risks. He knew it was a possibility for His creation to rebel against Him, so He made a backup plan, but He created us anyways, knowing that if they should rebel, He had a backup plan to redeem His creation.

For His pleasure all that was created was created.

“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” - Revelation 4:11 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation4:11&version=NKJV

God created, and by His will we exist and were created.

For me, that entails that He loves what He created;

This is true for everyone, not just you.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. - John 3:16 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John3:16&version=NKJV

And it's because he loved us that He wants to save us.

therefore, He saved what was created for His pleasure.

There are two ways of reading what you wrote:

"[He saved] [what was created for His pleasure]"
And
"[He saved ... for His pleasure] [what was created]"

Which way did you intend to say it?

It is all for His pleasure. If we want to enter into His pleasure He provided the way to do that also.

So God didn't send His Son to die on the cross to save us because He loved us?

I would not ever call it nauseous to talk about God's truth.

I have been repeating the truth for many years and am not sick of it.

Jesus says to obey.

Jesus says you will not be blessed as a disciple, as a family member and as a friend if you do not do what he says.

John 8:35 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

Luke 11:28 He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."

John 13:17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

John 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

Jesus doesn't even live in you, give you his Spirit, unless you obey.

John 14:23 Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Totally and completely CORRECT.

Totally and completely INCORRECT for you have to BELIEVE first in what you OBEY.

I am real.

You are not real.

Jews that obeyed were cut off because they did not also have faith. They obeyed the ceremonial works of the law. Jesus gave more works, but they refused them. They did not repent.

Go think about it some more.

I gave you the scripture where Jesus tells us that if anyone does not know...anyone who does not believe...they can obey and find out.

See John 7:17.
