As dense as someone who quotes you can sound, which is considerably.

Again, are you really that dense?

Please explain what is literal in the following verses:

(2 Sam 22:8-14 KJV) Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.

11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.

12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.

14 The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

The above describes God coming in judgment against David's enemies.

Did God literally ride a cherub?

Did God ride upon the wings of the wind?

Does the wind have wings?

Did smoke come out of God's nostrils?

Does God have nostrils?

Did fire come out of God's mouth?

Did the foundations of Heaven really move?

Did the earth literally shake?

Or......is all the above describing an army defeating the enemies of David?

Irrelevant. What's at issue is the literalness of this:

"Correct, and thanks for making it clear that it was the Roman army that was His return."

To be honest with you, I don't believe you have ANY credibility
at all. Frankly, I don't see why you're trying to debate on this
thread? Surely, you must realize you haven't got a chance of
converting anyone into believing the way you do? Either, you're
just enjoying the argument, you're lonely and don't have
anything else to do, or you're just causing trouble.

I, for one don't take you seriously. I see you as, pure entertainment
and nothing more. I know you're not searching for truth or anything
'mundane' as that. I think what's happening is, you're "toying" with
other posters and they're "toying" with you. Your beliefs are totally
inane, you certainly don't come off as a "mental giant," you have
no wit or charisma so, you're just some "goof" that we can sit and
be entertained by. That's my interpretation and my best guess!

What's embarrassing is you still choose to follow John Nelson Darby.

Changed my mind. At first I wrote you off as a cultic simpleton who can't think in a straight line. And I still do. But then I took the time to consider the implications of what you preach and decided your filthy eschatology is more than worth opposing, for the sake of babes in Christ.

I'm not trying to proselytize anyone.

This thread is about how Aleister Crowley grew up hearing John Nelson Darby in the Plymouth Brethren, and then patterned his Thelema aeons off of Darby's dispensations.

For good measure, there are also lots of posts showing what a false teaching Dispensationalism is.

If you don't like it, you don't have to post here.

You keep telling everyone you have me on ignore, but then you keep replying to my posts.

You have no interest in what I believe, you're only interested in finding a "gotcha".

What you believe isn't significant enough to bother with. You've
proven that yourself. Basically, you're main purpose for posting
on this thread is to keep reciting the name of Darby (who nobodies
ever heard of) hoping that will, 'make you stand out in the crowd.

I doubt, even you have read anything the guy has said? You might
have just Googled "Dispensationalism" and came up with that
name. And, used his name as a ploy to cause some controversy.

You keep bringing up his name as if you were a salesman trying
to sell a product. Do you even make sense to yourself, is my
question?

Why do you get so upset when I show you verses from 2 Sam 22?

All I'm doing is showing you the symbolism found throughout the OT that was used to describe how God came in judgment on different people, cities, nations, etc.

The same symbolism is used to describe what happened in 70AD, but you guys take all the symbolism literally.

You guys think literal stars fall from the sky, the earth will literally be shaken, and that Jesus will literally ride on a cloud.
