That would be the same gospel in Acts 2 and Acts 4 where over 8000 people were added to the B.O.C..

We have an uninterrupted sermon preached by Peter on the day of Pentecost beginning at Acts 2:14 and ending at Acts 2:36. In that sermon there is not a word about the vicarious death of the Lord Jesus.

H.A. Ironside says the following about the "gospel" which we are to preach today:

"All through those OT dispensations, the gospel was predicted, and when Jesus came, the gospel came with Him. When He died, when He was buried, and when He rose again, the gospel could be fully told out to a poor lost world. Observe, it says, 'that Christ died for our sins.' No man preaches the gospel, no matter what nice things he may say about Jesus, if he leaves out His vicarious death on Calvary's Cross" [emphasis added] (Ironside, God's Unspeakable Gift [London: Pickering & Inglis, 1908], Chapter 2).

Anyone with a lick of sense understand that on the day of Pentecost Peter did not preach the gospel Paul outlines at 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

You are a pleasant enough fellow, until you put on your MADist hat, and then you turn sour.

That is because dabbling in error rubs off. Digging around in garbage leaves an odor. Flee the wrong teaching that you currently defend and God will perhaps grant you repentance to dump it from your mind.

Paul preached a repentance TOWARDS God. A repentance towards God means a turning from something to turn towards God . Paul was preaching to turn FROM sin and towards God.

Act 20:21
testifying to both Jews and Greeks repentance towards God, and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ.

From unbelief to belief.

1 Thessalonians 1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

Jerry, did Jesus ever talk about airplanes,automobiles, computers etc. I guess none of those things can be real since the Son of God didn't mention them in your lack of reasoning ?

Over 8000 people were in the B.O.C while Paul was persecuting the Church, and before Paul ever got saved, and that is straight out of scripture Acts 2 & Acts 4.

I can't find the term 'Body of Christ' in Acts 2 or Acts 4.
Perhaps you could show me?

If you would read acts 2 without MAD glasses there is the same gospel that Paul preached.

Act 2:36

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, th God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Act 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

ALL of scripture was given by God for our learning and understanding.

@Dodge;

What was revealed to Paul that God had never revealed to anyone before?

What was revealed to Paul had already been revealed to the other Apostles as evidenced by Acts 2 ( over 3000 folks added to the body ) and Acts 4 ( where 5000 were added to the B.O.C.), and all of those saved BEFORE Paul even got saved !

So your answer is, there was nothing revealed to Paul that had not already been revealed to at least the 12?
