You're rationalizing.

Why? Because I pointed out, and you recognize, that there's a significant flaw in what you just said that you can't address, so instead of revising your beliefs to fit reality, you try to rationalize it away.

Don't do that. Let scripture speak for itself.

No. He didn't. His mission was to go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

His mission did not become His disciples' mission. They had a different mission, which they, on their own authority, which had been given to them BY JESUS HIMSELF, decided not to do.

Yes He did, which in no way contradicts Jesus' above words in red.

No.

The hope was that Israel, as a whole, would repent of their unbelief and turn back toward their God, so that He could bring about the Kingdom He had promised them.

What, the gospel of the circumcision? That's what Christ told them to do. Then circumstances changed, and they no longer had to do what He told them to do, because to do so would have been foolish.

What "2nd temple"?

You never answered my question:

So then not all of Israel rejected their Messiah. Yes?
I showed you the inconsistency between Jesus purportedly saying that he only came for the Jews and then instructing his apostles to preach to all the world.

The first temple or "Solomon's Temple" was destroyed in 587 BC. The 2nd Temple was constructed after the return from Babylon. The 2nd Temple was again destroyed in 70 AD as Jesus foretold. In 691 The Muslims built a mosque on the site of both the 1st and 2nd temples.

I said very few Jews accepted Jesus. That has been true for 2,000 years.

Your reading comprehension sucks.

So what?

I'll ask again, since you didn't give a clear answer.

Is God completely done with Israel, never to return to her?
God will return to the heart of any Jewish person that will receive him. I believe that one day the Temple mount will have a Temple to the Father where all people can worship. There will be Temples to the Father all over the earth.

"Christianity" didn't exist while Christ was on earth or even for a year AFTER He left.

What He told them to look for was His return.

But he never came back, for a reason which you, because you reject most of the Bible, are not aware of.
Jesus never came back because he wasn't planning to for a loooooong time. Even then it will only be for a visit because he doesn't live here.

The Israelites developed false expectations of a Jewish Messiah. The Son of God could never fully meet their expectations.

"My kingdom is not of this world".

"The Kingdom of God is within you."

You want flock to mean select Israelites.
Dialoging with the brain dead is very difficult. You are such a completely brain dead moron.

I don't "want" anything. I simply believe the Bible that you mock and then quote. You are a psycho.
Israel is just a tiny country. They were unchosen, left "desolate" after rejecting God for the final time.
The ONLY people that God calls HIS FLOCK are Israelites.

The LITTLE FLOCK are Israelites regardless of your offense to the truth.

I showed you the inconsistency between Jesus purportedly saying that he only came for the Jews and then instructing his apostles to preach to all the world.

There's nothing inconsistent about it.

Jesus' mission was to the Jews. His disciples' mission was to the world.

Trying to tie the two different missions given to different people together and then claiming that Jesus' mission was to the world is not only stupid and illogical, but wrong.

Jesus didn't lie, and His mission wasn't for His disciples, nor was His disciples' mission for Him.

They would be preaching [the original gospel message] to all the world today from the 2nd temple.

Wrong.

They would have been preaching the Kingdom of Heaven throughout the world.

I said very few Jews accepted Jesus. That has been true for 2,000 years.

So then not all of Israel rejected their Messiah. Yes or no?

God will return to the heart of any Jewish person that will receive him.

That's not what I asked.

I asked: Is God completely done with Israel, never to return to her?

Please answer the question I asked, and not one I didn't ask.

I believe that one day the Temple mount will have a Temple to the Father where all people can worship. There will be Temples to the Father all over the earth.

More fairy tale.

Jesus never came back because he wasn't planning to for a loooooong time.

Wrong.

* The Bible shows the Timing of Christ's Return has Changed: For most folks, before reading this list we recommend praying, "Lord, if Your Word clearly teaches something that I will tend to reject because it conflicts with some of my biases, please help me to be humble before You and willing to challenge my preexisting beliefs."
- God Views the End Times Calendar as Changeable: "I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time" Isa. 60:22
- Believers Can Change the Time of Christ's Return: Peter wrote that believers too should set about, "hastening the coming of the day of God" 2 Pet. 3:12
- Even the Length of the Tribulation will Change: Jesus said that, "those days will be shortened" Mat. 24:22
- Like God Shortening His Punishment of Israel: the Old Testament precedents for God shortening the coming Tribulation, include, "choose... seven years... Or... three months... Or... three days' plague..." And David said... "His mercies are great..." So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel. 2 Sam. 24:12-17, 25
- For God Promised Mercy Regardless of Prophecy If...: "The instant I speak concerning a nation [Israel], to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will repent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it." Jer. 18:7-8 (see also a dozen more Category 1 verses like that one, including the next, about Nineveh)
- Again, Get This Down, God Promises Mercy Regardless of Prophecy If: "...forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown! [But then] they turned from their evil way; and God repented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it." Jonah 3:10
- Before You Get Through Israel's Villages: "...I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes." Mat. 10:23 (yet this did not happen, because as warned, God changed His plan for Israel; Jer. 18:9-10; Rom. 11)
- Some of You Won't Die Until: "there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom." Mat. 16:28 (this didn't refer to the Transfiguration which occurred about a day later; see too Mark 9 and Luke 9; yet they all did die, because God changed His plan for Israel, and grafted in the Gentiles; Jer. 18:9-10; Rom. 11)
- John Might Not Die Before: "Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, 'If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?'" John 21:23
- This Generation Won't Pass Until: "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place." Mat. 24:34 (yet that generation did pass away, because God changed His plan for Israel and instead grafted in the Gentiles; Jer. 18:9-10; Rom. 11)
- Before Paul, Believers Sold their Homes: "all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need." Acts 4:34-35; 5:1-2 (this behavior, appropriate at the time, changed after Paul's Acts 9 conversion when God grafted in the Gentiles)
- Christ's Soon Return Permeated His Teachings: "Sell what you have and give alms" Luke 12:33; "And everyone who has left houses... or lands, for My name's sake..." Mat. 19:29. "...do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on" Luke 12:22. The "ravens... neither sow nor reap" yet "God feeds them" Luke 12:24. "He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a staff——no bag..." Mark 6:8. "Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your moneybelts..." Mat. 10:9. "Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and... come, follow Me" Luke 18:22. (yet He did not return soon, as He had warned that He may change His mind). And even that Jesus went about all Galilee preaching "the gospel of the kingdom" Mat. 4:23; 9:35; 24:14; Mark 1:14-15 and Jesus said, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel [of the kingdom]" Mark 1:15; Mat. 3:2; 4:17
- With Homes Sold, They Became Poor: Remember that "all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them... and they distributed to each as anyone had need." Acts 4:34-35; 5:1-2
- It Was the Converts of the Twelve Who Fell into Poverty: 1 Cor. 16:1–4; 2 Cor. 8:1-9:15; Gal. 2:10; Rom. 15:25–31; Acts 11:27–30; 24:17 for communism quickly fails; the sale of pesonal property was to be a short-term tactic to survive the Tribulation and enter the Kingdom; the Postponement led to their poverty.
- Paul's Converts Kept Their Homes and Provided Relief: (The "apostle to the Gentiles" was able to raise relief from his converts) 1 Cor. 16:1–4; 2 Cor. 8:1-9:15; Gal. 2:10; Rom. 15:25–31; Acts 11:27–30; 24:17 to support the believers in Judea who fell into poverty; they hadn't immediately become poor after selling their property, but after the delay in Christ's previously-expected soon return
- God Warned He may Not Give Israel their Kingdom as Prophesied: "And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will repent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it." Jer. 18:9-10 (see also Jer. 18:7-8; for God, unlike a juvenile judge, does not make empty threats)
- One Year Probation Followed Three-Year Earthly Ministry: "'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree [figuratively, Israel] and find none. Cut it down...' But he answered and said, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.'" Luke 13:7-9
- Daniel's Seventieth Week Suspended: The prophet Daniel's 490-year prophecy (Dan. 9:24-27) of 483 years between the command to rebuild Jerusalem (by Artaxerxes Neh. 2:1-8) until the execution of the Messiah, followed by the next seven years that were to be the Great Tribulation (Mat. 24:15; Mark 13:14); but Israel rejected their resurrected Messiah so as God had warned (Jer. 18:9-10) He changed what He had prophesied for them by postponing both the tribulation and the Kingdom it would usher in.
- After the Cross Ten Signs of the Tribulation Were Evident: See chapter 9 of kgov.com/the-plot for details; in the year beginning with Christ's death the signs of the Great Tribulation that occurred included the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, signs and wonders, earthquakes, believers beaten by councils, the laying on of hands to imprison, arrests leading to occasion for testimony, martyrdom, expectation of an abbreviated end times and of the soon appearance of signs in the sun, moon, and stars, irresistible wisdom displayed.
- Fulfillment of Prophetic Seven Feasts of Israel Suspended: God ceased the apparent fulfillment of the Feasts of Israel on their very calendar days, for Jesus died on the day the Jews killed the Passover lamb; He was in the tomb during Unleavened Bread; raised on Firstfruits; gave the Holy Spirit on Pentecost; and He "tabernacled" among us (John 1:14, with the Greek saying not "dwelt" but "tabernacled"), likely fulfilling that feast; but the remaining two feasts including Trumpets are yet awaiting fulfillment, as God postponed His prophetic plan for Israel.
- Jesus Hardly Spoke About the End Times Until Just Before the Cross: The apocalyptic Olivet Discourse happened when Jesus said to His disciples, "You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified." Mat. 26:1-2
- God the Son Didn't Know the Timing: and neither did God the Holy Spirit but only the Father, for it is in His purview to decide when Jesus shall return. Just Google: open theism verses, and see Category 15, which includes the following:

The Holy Spirit, third person of the Godhead, did not know something that the Father knew, namely, the planned day and hour of the Second Coming Mark 13:32 and of course that lack of knowledge did not negate His divinity for the quantitative attribute of omniscience is not like the absolute qualitative attributes; likewise, no man, no angel, nor even the Son knew, for "of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only" of the persons of the Godhead, with even the Second Person not knowing the timing of the Second Coming which was in the purview of the Father alone Mat. 24:36.

- Israel's End Times Signs Not Relevant Today: When the Lord temporarily set aside Israel's Kingdom and their covenant of circumcision and grafted in the Body of Christ with its covenant of grace (this is not replacement theology), God's new sign, so to speak, of the end of the Body of Christ's time on earth is the "fullness of the Gentiles", whatever He means by that, be it a billion believers to populate heaven, or the Gospel preached worldwide, or holiness within the Body, etc.; so that, when "the fullness of the Gentiles has come in" then God will graft Israel back in again, "for God is able to graft them in again", and thereby resume the countdown on their end times calendar; Rom. 11:11-32.

The fact is that if Jesus came exclusively for the Jewish people they didn't want him.

Its estimated that there were 4,200,000 Jews in the world in the 1st century. at 40 AD 1,000 were estimated to be believers in Jesus. That's roughly .00025% were followers of Jesus.

Judaism rejected Jesus then and now.

I wasn’t justifying the UB. Now I see why you went all drama queen on me.
Ah, you still are showing you cannot read. There was no 'drama queen.' Its all in your head and poor context, Joe. You PROVE it to me every day.
Shades of “can anything good come out of Nazareth?”
Nope. More like "from Samaritans." Nazareth was at least still connected to Judah.
Israel rejected its calling, the answer to Abrahams faith. So it was given to the Gentile world.
Agree.
West just means that non-Jews took it and ran with it while the Israelites are still stuck and petrified in the Old Testament, waiting for their version of an exclusively Jewish Messiah.
Still missing the point: We were talking about every oddball cult started in these United States, and the problem. Why DON'T Coptic or EO or RC have cultic offshoots? Nope, just wherever people who don't understand grammar (seeing "Drama Queen???" in text with nothing there) etc. get involved.
Chicago and more precisely the “sleeping subject” was chosen for the 5th epochal revelation to the world.
How do you even say that with a straight face? o_O
It’s not like bidding for the Olympics!
Of course not. Mr. Sleepy couldn't do ANYTHING in the Olympics....
God works with open minded people and Chicago
Sure, if they are smart, intelligent, and actually know how to read and comprehend what they are reading.
the Saddlers and others, just happen to be where they were. In Jesus’ day Israel was the crossroads of commerce for the world. Israel was part of the plan since Abraham "trusted God" represented by Melchizedek. Today America and the English language are best suited for the Urantia revelation.
Nope. NOBODY but 20 people on TOL have even heard about the UB (exaggeration, but it conveys something important). It literally would make God powerless and weak. This goofy book has been around 100 years and about 1000 people ever fell for it (I realize there are a couple more than that, but I'm trying to get something through your head, it CANNOT be from God and fail this badly). Do you EVER think rationally? Ever? Ever?

The Urantia Book is much more widely read than you think. The UB has 24 translations and readers all over the world. I met the most recent translator Gabriel Rymberg of the Hebrew version in Jerusalem 2 years ago.

The UB was printed 66 years ago

A quick check on how 2020 went from the Urantia Foundation records shows a 24-Language Website 1,836,318 Sessions 3,572,787 Page Views 1,088,989 New Users 108,963 Urantia Books downloaded from urantia.org

Estimates on the growth of Christianity. "global Christian population of 40,000 in AD 150, rising to 218,000 in 200, and 1.17 million by 250. According to his calculation, it was around 180 that global Christian numbers first surpassed the symbolically weighty figure of 100,000.

Even with a deliberate "slow growth" policy by the foundation and Fellowship, the growth of the dissemination of the Urantia revelation far surpasses that of the missionaries of Paul's version of Jesus' teachings. Granted its much easier now without murderous persecution and a more educated world on the internet.

Reality and history doesn't match your beliefs about the Israelites.

Says the one pushing a fairy tale...

The fact is that if Jesus came exclusively for the Jewish people they didn't want him.

He came to them because they, being His sheep, were lost. A good shepherd always rescues the lost sheep.

Its estimated that there were 4,200,000 Jews in the world in the 1st century. at 40 AD 1,000 were estimated to be believers in Jesus. That's roughly .00025% were followers of Jesus.

So what?

Judaism rejected Jesus then and now.

And? Your point?

Will God ever return to working with Israel? Or has He cast them aside?

I believe that the Israelites writings have given sincere believers a wildly distorted view of how God "worked with Israel" in the past. That may be the reason you see the Israelites as One pure block of people waiting in the gene pool somewhere for God to come back and resume what I believe to be a Hollywood version of their ordinary secular history.

I'm going to speculate on the side of Israel's continued faith in the Father and confusion about the Son. I could envision a future time when Israel has an "ah ha moment". Perhaps a great leader will rise up among the Jews and effectively convert Jews to faith in the original Gospel. That could well happen with the Urantia revelation in hand. The Sheep of Israel's flock will then join the greater, worldwide flock.

I believe

That's nice.

But what does reality show?

Your fairy tale sounds pleasant to the ears, but it's wrong.

This is what I mean by fairy tale.

Answer the question Caino:

Will God ever return to working with Israel? Or has she been cast away?

I'm going to speculate

That's all you have, Caino. You don't have solid facts, just speculation and wild fantasies!

More fairy tale nonsense.

Yes or no, Caino. Will God ever return to working with Israel?

Israel abandoned God for their religion. God never left the individual Jew.

As far as the covenant, the Jews broke their side of the bargain. The mighty levers of God are working with the Sons flock.

Still not answering the question I asked, but a question I did not ask.

Will God ever return to working with ISRAEL (the nation)?

As far as the covenant, the Jews broke their side of the bargain.

Which covenant? There are at least two.

The mighty levers of God are working with the Sons flock.

More fairy tale.

More fairy tale.
In a future age of "Light and Life" there will be one world government by the people and for the people. The original Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven will be proclaimed to all the world. There will only be one sovereign nation world wide. What we call the nation of Israel will simply be a region in the world. The current races of mankind will be blended into a mulatto race of humans.

So no, as a "nation" there won't be a nation of Israel for God to work with nor would God need to. Israel has already served its purpose.

Even more fairy tale nonsense.

Paul tells us:

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, - Acts 17:26 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts17:26&version=NKJV

FINALLY! An answer! Why is it that people like yourself utterly refuse to answer clear and simple questions!?

NO, God WILL, in fact, return to Israel.

That's what the ENTIRE CHAPTER OF ROMANS 11 IS ALL ABOUT!

Spoiler
I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,“ Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life” ?But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.Just as it is written: “God has given them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they should not hear, To this very day.”And David says: “Let their table become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to them.Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, And bow down their back always.”I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness! For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.”Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!“For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?”“Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?”For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. - Romans 11:1-36 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans11:1-36&version=NKJV

I had answered your question several times but knew that you would just call anything I say a fairy tale because that's what people like you do.

Paul is rationalizing and giving his opinion as a Jew having been thoroughly indoctrinated in the chosen people delusion and never taught by Jesus when he was on earth.

Its the strangest thing that you think God favors those who rejected him a number of times, even killing his Son while those who do believe in Jesus are second class citizens.

Your unbelief has you delusional. Perhaps you've never heard of the NEW COVENANT where God will forgive their sins.
Jer 31:34 KJV And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

No, it's because what you believe is, in fact, a fairy tale.

Paul is rationalizing

No, he's not.

and giving his opinion as a Jew having been thoroughly indoctrinated in the chosen people delusion and never taught by Jesus when he was on earth.

If so, SO WHAT?

Was what he said false?

Its the strangest thing that you think God favors those who rejected him a number of times,

It's not strange at all.

Because it's all for ABRAHAM'S SAKE!

even killing his Son while those who do believe in Jesus are second class citizens.

Nonsense.

That forgiveness is for everyone who has faith in the Gospel of the Kingdom. Any individual Jew who has faith is already forgiven and saved. Galatians 3:28, NIV: "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
