If you're infected and you refuse to take precautions so as not to infect others then you're irresponsibly putting other people's health at risk. Simple as that.

False.

"My neighbor has the right to choose to be afraid.

If he is afraid that I unknowingly carry an illness, he has the right to be afraid of me. He has the right to stay away from me. But he does not have the right to control me, detain me, or deface me.

If he comes near me and I am ill, he may catch my illness. If he fears my illness he can stay away.

I will come to him if he needs me, even if he’s sick.

When we are well, I’ll eat with him in a restaurant, sit next to him in a theatre or wait in line with him at the grocery store. I’ll never force him to do anything against his will and I expect the same respect from him.

I accept the inherent risk of death in life. If I should inadvertently catch an illness from him, I will not hold him responsible. Even if I perish. This is how it’s always been, and it’s how it should always be.

If I am knowingly ill, I pledge to respect my neighbors and contain my illness as best I can while still providing for myself and my family. I cannot guarantee that I will not spread a pathogen, but I will be considerate.

I promise to never rob, murder, envy, vandalize or bear false witness against my neighbor.

It's not false at all and you can repeat this mantra ad nauseam. If you refuse to take precautions that can infect your neighbour then you're irresponsibly putting other people at risk. Simple as that.

That's like asking if breaking a leg has a plus side...

Talk about missing the point.

I was specifically referring to the fact that because of the FUD that's being spread by the media and people like yourself, most people are utterly terrified of catching this virus, even though it likely won't have any lasting effects on them.

It would be better to achieve tribal immunity and move on than try to control the incontrollable.

No, Arthur, that's a lie.

I am not responsible for other people's health. That's how it has always been. When you catch the flu every year, do you blame the person you caught it from? Or do you just accept that it's not something that can be controlled and don't assign blame to anyone?

The same applies to the Coronavirus.

Also, regarding taking precautions:

"My neighbor has the right to choose to be afraid.

If he is afraid that I unknowingly carry an illness, he has the right to be afraid of me. He has the right to stay away from me. But he does not have the right to control me, detain me, or deface me.

It is not a lie at all JR. If you refuse to take precautions that can knowingly infect your neighbour then it's irresponsible. It really is as simple as that.

Are the hundreds of thousands of deaths because of Covid some sort of conspiracy? Otherwise, I'm not terrified of getting the thing but I do exercise sensible precautions where I'm less likely to contract the thing or pass it onto others. Herd immunity has already been dismissed as an option. Sweden's measures have backfired.

So, that means that every flu season every year for decades you have worn a mask and social distanced, right?

That means that during the Swine Flu you wore a mask and social distanced, right?

That means that during the Bird Flu you wore a mask and social distanced, right?

Oh wait, you didn't.

You are a liar, a fraud, a dupe of fake science and a willing tool of those who are using fear to enact a socialist takeover of society.

Hardly, I'm just not a snowflake or a conspiracy nut and your opinion means...well, by now you should be able to work that one out.

My health is none of your concern, the same as your health is none of my concern.
Hebrews 6:10-12 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others...

1 Corinthians 12:25-27 so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.

Romans 15:1- 2 Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves. Each one of us must please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience...

Why do you assume becoming infected with the virus is a bad thing?
I don't assume it, I follow the advice of the health professionals in our local gov't and in my family, all who are in agreement that to take it seriously is the way to proceed the best for all.

The health profession is corrupt. These are the same people who say that homosexuals are normal and that gender fluidity is normal. Just as in the days of Nazi Germany, the political pressure behind junk science has become so great that doctors have buckled to the pressure. Arian Superiority became forced by the Nazi state to be taught in colleges as factual science. Today this crap you believe is being forced by a cabal of the Left and their willing partners in high tech and medicine to be taken as Fact when it is not.

Did you notice that all the doctors who had a different POV were fired and their videos banned from Youtube and their Tweets banned from Twitter? You better wake up .

Here is a question: If you and your wife decided to have a baby, and the hospital counselor told you that of the kid displays transgender tendencies that you should let the kid go with his feelings and do not discourage them, would you "follow the advice of the health professionals in our local gov't"?

Take a guess what I would do. I would tell them to shove their filthy perverted junk science where the sun don't shine and to get out of my face.

It is not a lie at all JR.

Because you say so?

Because I have 5000 years of civilized behavior that says otherwise.

If you refuse to take precautions that can knowingly infect your neighbour then it's irresponsible. It really is as simple as that.

If I know I am infected, then I will be considerate, but I'm not going to put my own wellbeing at risk simply because my neighbor is afraid of getting sick. That's how it's always been.

If I don't know that I'm infected, then I'm not going to allow myself to be controlled by fear. I'm going to live life like normal, and my neighbor does not have the right to control me to do otherwise.

Are the hundreds of thousands of deaths because of Covid

The total number of deaths caused by the virus alone is only around 10k.

some sort of conspiracy?

I have answered this question already.

I am NOT NOR HAVE I EVER claimed that people are not dying from the virus.

But people are also suffering and even dying from the irresponsible "precautions" that have been implemented based not on science, but on politics.

And on top of that, masks don't work.

Otherwise, I'm not terrified of getting the thing but I do exercise sensible precautions where I'm less likely to contract the thing or pass it onto others. Herd

Let's not use dehumanizing terms.

"Tribal immunity" is better.

immunity has already been dismissed as an option.

That's because not enough people are catching it.

Sweden's measures have backfired.

False.
