On Rape

And more obfuscation. Pretend you have an actual specific question you wish to know, then ask it, then pay attention when you are answered.

Alright, here goes. Leap of faith.

Have you ever been personally responsible for a crime committed against you?

That's the premise here, right? That victims are responsible for the crimes against them?

So it's worth examining some particular examples.

Alright, I'll give you one from many years ago. I went to a party down on campus, drinking (under age), and smoking weed when I was supposed to be staying at a friend's house. There was a knock on the door and we opened it to black guys with guns and nylon stockings over their faces. (They didn't even need to break in). We were robbed and scared and had to spend the night at the police station giving statements. I was where I should not have been, and I knew it. They were at fault, but I had to accept some of the responsibility.....as my parents made very clear after I called them.

How did this impact your life?

It made me leery of blacks for quite some time. I also learned never to open the door without seeing who was there first. Forty-five years later, I still look before I open up. Unfortunately, it didn't stop me from drinking and partying...nor did it stop me from lying to my parents, but I was more careful and realized how quickly a good time can become dangerous.

It was such a sudden shock and surprise to have men with guns making us lay down on the floor that I keep a wary eye out even today.

Have you ever seen the lacerated vagina of a child who has been raped by an adult male?
Have you ever seen the bridge of flesh between vagina and anus torn apart by a rapist so that the intestines are falling out? Little boys have been disemboweled by adult rapists also.
Have you ever seen the dead corpse of a baby who strangled to death on the seminal fluid from a rapist having sex in the babies mouth?
These are things seen in Emergency Rooms all across the nation.
Is there any doubt that the rape victims suffer?

When you're right you're right, but pedos and pedo-fans don't want to hear it...it's really all about "love."

I realize my post was ghastly but I felt it was important to bring it out!
We have no idea how pervasive sexual abuse of children is world-wide.

On another note, some posters have waxed vehement on the victim of sexual abuse being somehow responsible or even partly responsible for the abuse because they should have known better? Or they should have behaved better?
Might we apply that same thinking to the "Frat" boys? Are they not responsible to avoid drinking too much and deliberately setting up situations wherein vulnerable young women are intimidated, drugged or enticed into sexual behavior?

From what I've read, the positive claims made here are extremely amorphous.

That's why I'm asking for a succinct statement to clearly define at least one position being defended in this thread.

Macro: those who have had the ability to influence the downhill slide of our society and culture and have chosen to do nothing, to stand idly by while rapedivorceadulteryhomosexulaityabortionpornography have defined us (and are, more importantly, defining and molding our youth) are responsible for the mess we find ourselves in, including rape

Micro: those who know the risks they take in acting like whores bear a degree of responsibility for the consequences that ensue

Alright, here goes. Leap of faith.

sure - left my wallet on the trunk of my car at the beach

of course they are

and in a just system of justice, they would be tried and executed, swiftly

I can understand the life long effect of this.

Interestingly enough, this is the type of arguments used by a DEFENSE attorney who is hired to make sure a violent predator is allowed to stay free and go on to prey on others.

I guess this means that a business man who leaves a meeting after sharing drinks with a potential client is solely responsible should he be robbed and beaten. After all, if he was stone cold sober, that innocent pillar of virtue may not have been able to get the upper hand.
