Who could forget Archie Bunker? All in the family
Seinfeld
"It's not a lie if you believe it" -- GeorgeI often listen to my instincts, and then do the complete opposite...like George did in the one episode.
So you tell women you are unemployed and live with your parents? Everybody Loves Raymond has to be the most boring unfunny show I have ever seen. Sorry TH.
The TheologyOnline.com TOPIC OF THE DAY for April 24th, 2012 09:01 AM
toldailytopic: What is/was the best sitcom of all-time?
The best thing to come from Saved by the Bell was screech beating the crap out of Horseshack from Welcome Back Cotter on Fox Celebrity Boxing.
1. Cheers
5. Frazier
The Simpsons, anyone?
Frazier was frequently very dry and layered, a little like one of Dennis Miller's better rants on his old HBO show.Cheers was a bit before I was really watching sitcoms but I used to watch reruns on a regular basis and it's a good one.
Frazier isn't one that makes me laugh hard, but it's entertaining for some reason. I used to watch reruns of that a lot too.
I can put both of those on my Runners Up list.
That's okay, I didn't watch it until it was syndicated. Frequently subtle and Boyle was a genius with timing a line.
The smartest writing would be, to my mind:
1. Cheers
2. Frazier
3. MTM
4. WKRP
5. Larry Sanders Show/30 Rock
If by that you mean Kelly Kapowski, then yes. :Shimei:
