So you tell women you are unemployed and live with your parents? Everybody Loves Raymond has to be the most boring unfunny show I have ever seen. Sorry TH.

That's okay, I didn't watch it until it was syndicated. Frequently subtle and Boyle was a genius with timing a line.

The smartest writing would be, to my mind:

1. Cheers

2. Frazier

3. MTM

4. WKRP

5. Larry Sanders Show/30 Rock

Looking at the names being thrown around.

I didn't know a lot of these shows "qualified" as sitcoms.

That being said, Frazier hands down.

5. Frazier

Cheers was a bit before I was really watching sitcoms but I used to watch reruns on a regular basis and it's a good one.

Frazier isn't one that makes me laugh hard, but it's entertaining for some reason. I used to watch reruns of that a lot too.

I can put both of those on my Runners Up list.

The Simpsons, anyone?

Yes!

I'm surprised you were the 1st to mention it and I was only the 2nd.

I never watch anymore (don't really watch anything) and I think they need to call it quits but that show was great back in the day. And it led the way to a bunch of the shows that we have now.

Frazier was frequently very dry and layered, a little like one of Dennis Miller's better rants on his old HBO show.

The Larry Sanders Show is one of my favorites. Another good one is Trailer Park Boys, although it might not be to everybody's tastes. It's funny though.
