Which TOL'ers do you make a point of reading their posts and why?

Included - Excluded
Intrusion - Extrusion
The in crowd - The out crowd
On the inside - On the outside

Let it matter not
Then on the spot you are not
To make a list of a few
Just to miss a lot

To be on the friends list
Of many or few
As sure as it is today
There are some missed there too

So whether it's you
Or whether it's I, or is that me
For all who we read that we like or disdain
One thing is clear do you not see

That TOL with religion, politics
and everything else
Through encouragement, help, scorn or debate
We are all included . . . And that is first rate!

I think it's impossible to list all the people who's posts we find interesting. When making a list, some people are going to be omitted, simply because there are so many people on TOL.

There are times when people who were not on my list, make excellent posts...and I make a point of pos rep-ing them for it. Just because they don't appear on my list, doesn't mean I don't enjoy reading their posts or agree with what they have to say. Indeed, there are several people on TOL who's posts I really enjoy but aren't even on my friends list.

Don't take it too personally...in fact, have a bit of a laugh about it....it's not a popularity contest nor written in stone :)

I tend to follow thread subject first and poster later. But if I see a poster I like in a thread I wouldn't normally be interested in, I may jump in.

But my favorite posters in no particular order are . . . .
Kmoney
The Barbarian (back when he still posted)
Plastik buddah
gsweet
chair
Son of Jack
Selaphiel
Arthur Brain
Town Heretic

and I'm sure I've forgotten some people. :) Like most have already pointed out I don't necessarily agree with everything they have to say but usually they say it in an enlightening or interesting way.

I can't believe I didn't make it on your list. I'm hurt.

So really, the way to know if I find someone worth following is to see who I respond to in the threads.

This is how I post and have posted elsewhere on other message boards, too. Generally, I only discuss with those whom I'm sure will make great discussion. If I opt out of a discussion without returning in kind or rebutting, that's generally not a compliment to my opponent.

So far I have really enjoyed my conversation/'s with:

John Mortimer, PlastikBuddha, and freelight. I'll also add that I really enjoy reading posts from ThePhy and Alate_One as I've been cruising the boards.
