This, when you evaluate how theistic morality defines both "just" and "good" is a semantically void statement.

God is just (De 32:4; Isa 45:21) and good (Ps 25:8; Na 1:7; Mt 19:17). You are commanded to repent (Eze 18:30-32; Ac 17:30). The Lord himself provided a way of salvation (2 Ti 1:9). Your statement if void by Ro 5:8. No one will ever be able to say that God is not just and good.

Have you read anything of what I've written? Do you seriously think that just by re-asserting everything that I consider completely bankrupt I will suddenly recant and convert?

SD does this a lot, you'll either ignore her or get drawn into her web. Caution.

God was just and good yesterday. He will be just and good tomorrow. You are a passing whirlwind (Pr 10:25). :granite: Love the motto-- "A man chooses, a slave obeys." You choose to be a slave to sin (Jn 8:34). :burnlib:

You "caution" against being a slave to sin or a slave to Christ? Jn 8:34. What do you have to offer anyone, Satanist? Jn 10:10. :burnlib:

I think Granite has quite a bit to offer. He seems to be one of the more reasonable people here. You could learn a lot from him.

Serpentdove... why do you document your entire posting history on your website?
A few housekeeping items:

I keep all posts for training purposes (Ac 11:4, 18:23, 26, 28:23, 20:20, Isa 55:11).

 611 posts later, will you continue to rebel against your creator today? 2 Ti 3:7. :smokie:

P66 has bigger problems than my memory of our conversations. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't "...what he says be used against him" in a court of law? Mt 12:31,32.

The pervert loves the Satanist. If you'd like to learn to: steal, kill, and destroy (Jn 10:10)--Graniteheart is your man. :BRAVO:

 How many posts in a row is it before a thread becomes a monologue anyway? Well, broke that up at any rate. :D

And by holy book you mean the series of testimonials written years apart and gathered together as a sort of witness?

Arguing the historical existence of Jesus is a sad business, but inevitable, I suppose. It's counter intuitive relative to the claims and growth of the religion in the relatively uncrowded, backwater region where it began and has only been the fringe cry of a few looking for something like academic distinction unavailable to them else or another reason to justify their apostasy or want of address of the more pressing matter.

Say what?

Ah, I get it. The only evidence is what the Christian holy book says. To a Christian, who believes in Christian holy book, this make perfect sense.
Now, bear with me a minute, and try real hard to think what this means to a non-Christian. Why in the world would I, or any other non-Christian, accept your holy book as factual? Do you accept the Koran, or Book of Mormon, or the ancient holy texts of the Hindus?

If pointing to the "claims and growth of the religion in the relatively uncrowded, backwater region where it began " is any kind of evidence, then we all better convert to Islam ASAP, since it beats Christianity hands down in this regard.

I will ignore your "fringe cry" but- there is no real argument there at all.

There is no getting away
from this. If the souls
separation from God
results in the 'host' being
subjected to eternal agony
then God is immoral for
allowing this to continue.
By setting up God as the
ultimate divine creator and
arbiter of the universe then
he has to be responsible for
our state either through
control or apathy.-------Skavau. The next question then is: Is the soul of the unbeliever truly eternal? If it is, is God just in letting that soul feel torment forever?

. . . "testimonials" are written by eye witnesses to an event . . . not so the Bible. In the entire "New" Testament there are NO eye witness accounts of/to Jesus . . . NONE.

The Bible is historical narrative. Some of the authors walked with Jesus. It also records that 100s saw the risen Christ. You can reject the Bible, but at least be fair with what it says.

The godless unbelief and denial of revelation around here is galling.

If the soul of the unbeliever is eternal, then no God is not just in letting that soul feel torment forever. Why would he be?
