See, you add words, and intentionally twist what we say, and then attack that.

That's called a straw-man argument, GT. Stop it.

We did not say there are three Gods.

We did not say:

We said there is One God, who expresses Himself in Three Persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. One God. Three Persons.

One God.
Three Persons.
Father.
Son.
Holy Spirit.

Get it?

The strawman is you saying 'strawman'.

Yeah I get how you call the Father and Jesus Persons and neglect the fact that they are SPIRIT.

You make three different instead of three one and the same.

The Holy Spirit isn't a different entity to the side, a sub, a proxy, according to trinity the third on the list who stands in for the other two Persons.

One means the same.
No, one does not mean the same.

"The LORD our God, the LORD is one [echad]."

"Echad" means one of plurality. Let's use "one" in a sentence that shows plurality:

"The people spoke with one voice."

Now, if what you say is true (that "one" means "the same"), here's a few questions for you:

Did all the people use the same set of vocal chords to speak? Or each individual person use their own vocal cords to say the same thing? Was there just one and the same voice speaking? Or were there multiple voices saying the same thing?

What about this verse?

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. - Genesis 2:24 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis2:24&version=NKJV

"Echad" is used in this verse also, showing a plurality in the "oneness" made by a man and a woman coming together in marriage.

Does that mean they are the same person?

I tell you NO, OF COURSE NOT!

One does not mean the same.

Because HE OBEYED GOD.

Don't you know that.

Abraham's FAITH AND OBEDIENCE WERE WORKING TOGETHER.

And where does it say that He obeyed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness in Genesis?

The strawman is you saying 'strawman'.

God's unTruth: "I know you are, but what am I?"

Yeah I get how you call the Father and Jesus Persons and neglect the fact that they are SPIRIT.

No one has denied or "neglected" the fact that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are spirit. NO ONE.
Jesus now has two natures, spirit and man.

In fact, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are the original Persons.

You make three different instead of three one and the same.

There's that 'addition to scripture' you keep adding.

There's no "and the same" when it says "the three are one." Stop adding it.

God is one of plurality.

He is one God who expresses Himself in three Persons.

The Holy Spirit isn't a different entity to the side, a sub, a proxy, according to trinity the third on the list who stands in for the other two Persons.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information from...

Sounds like another straw man argument to me.

Wrong again! Because of Abraham's DISobedience, we have the mess we have in the Middle East.

I'd say it was impatience and listening to the voice of his wife.

He actually inquired of God the next time when Sarah wanted him to send the bond woman and her son away.

God says there is NO ONE BESIDES HIM OR LIKE HIM. So your analogies are wrong. God does not compare Himself to a husband and wife. That is YOUR analogy.

What don't you get that that everything the Father says, Jesus says?

You are badly mistaken.

You are married? You are one with your wife? Does she only says what you say? Do you only say and do what she does? Stop making up your own analogies that are not from God. Show were God compares Himself to a husband or wife or repent.

If you, gt, brought anything to the already perfect, atoning, vicarious, sacrificial, completed/finished work on the Cross of Calvary, then you, gt, are saying that you need to help the Lord and His work.

No that is your screwed up thinking.

Never ever is obeying Jesus' words, God's words as doing something wrong.
