why should I try to understand your worldly faith?
You don't even consider that your theology might be wrong. To you, your beliefs are infallible. On the other hand, I am open to the possibility that my theology could be wrong, and I would hope that whoever can correct me does. So far, no one has been able to.
You, however, are resistant to even God's Word. I provided several passages that show that Jesus is God, and you don't even take the time to read them. You place your own doctrine above that of the Bible under the guise of belittling others' beliefs.
I just said I have read plenty of your posts,
Let me make this clear: You can read all the posts you want of mine, but when you reject God's word in favor of your own theology, you become a fool. And when you reject correction and then retreat into your shell of "I'm not going to respond to your response because I don't think it's valid, good day," you become a stupid person.
A stupid person resists correction and despises her own soul, but a wise person heeds rebuke, and is humble before the Lord
*Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge,But he who hates correction is stupid. - Proverbs 12:1 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs12:1&version=NKJV
*The ear that hears the rebukes of lifeWill abide among the wise.*He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding.*The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility. - Proverbs 15:31-33 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs15:31-33&version=NKJV
I am rebuking you, Meshak, for being a fool and arrogant.
*Rebuke is more effective for a wise manThan a hundred blows on a fool. - Proverbs 17:10 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs17:10&version=NKJV
*As snow in summer and rain in harvest,So honor is not fitting for a fool.*Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow,So a curse without cause shall not alight.*A whip for the horse,A bridle for the donkey,And a rod for the fool’s back.*Do not answer a fool according to his folly,Lest you also be like him.*Answer a fool according to his folly,Lest he be wise in his own eyes.*He who sends a message by the hand of a foolCuts off his own feet and drinks violence.*Like the legs of the lame that hang limpIs a proverb in the mouth of fools.*Like one who binds a stone in a slingIs he who gives honor to a fool.*Like a thorn that goes into the hand of a drunkardIs a proverb in the mouth of fools.*The great God who formed everythingGives the fool his hire and the transgressor his wages.*As a dog returns to his own vomit,So a fool repeats his folly.*Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. - Proverbs 26:1-12 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs26:1-12&version=NKJV
so I know your faith and I don't agree with it.
That's perfectly fine. What's not fine is that you are a fool.
You cannot convert me to your faith.
My faith is in God. If your faith is in God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, then our faith is the same. But if it's not, then you are resisting God Himself.
My faith in Jesus is unshakable.
*Pride goes before destruction,And a haughty spirit before a fall.*Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly,Than to divide the spoil with the proud. - Proverbs 16:18-19 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs16:18-19&version=NKJV
I agree many of how they read the Bible.
They cannot be correct if their interpretation of the Bible is wrong.
I respect their faith because they honor Jesus' word and strive to be like Jesus.
They don't honor Jesus as God, and because of that, they undermine the entire Gospel message.
they practice what they preach. the are not lip servers like many other churches.
Practicing something that doesn't match the Bible means that it doesn't matter if they practice what they preach, because it doesn't match what the Bible says.
that is good enough for me to trust their faith.
As BR said, it's not good enough. The fundamentals of their beliefs are wrong, and so their message inherently is wrong.
You cannot build a castle on sand, you must have a firm foundation to build on. That foundation is Jesus Christ.
