Read post 5613.

A creature was elevated to King of King, Lord of Lords. Every knee will bend to him. Is that not you read?

Was the man Jesus a creature?

Was the spirit in him a creature?

I think so. The Bible tells me that.

I have no popes.

I'm a Calvinist :)

And
America become a transfigured mass of heresy- don't be duped into that myriad of nonsense.
I got love for my fellow countrymen- but damn if they aren't skewed in the theology department :plain:

We can agree on that. Most do not seek as we do. And when we do we an get confused for lack of supporting knowledge.
Understanding takes time and prayer.

Keypurr, can I just get a straight yes or no from you? Is it wrong to worship a created being?

What of my words do you not understand?

There is only one true God, the Father.

Christ has a God so he can not be God, but he can be a created FORM of God for he was given the fullness of his God. He has the power of his creator. He is like the right arm of his God. Only the Father is greater than the spirit Son.

Keypurr, I'm not sure why you're not answering a very simple question. Is it wrong to worship a created being?

It's not that I don't understand you, it's that you're not answering my question.

This is why he won't answer you. He knows it is wrong but it doesn't fit with his theology.

Romans 1:25 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served something created instead of the Creator, who is praised forever. Amen.

Where in the world did you get this garbage from? Certainly not from scripture.

The Father has children. A person with children is a family.

God is a family.

You still have not answered his question.

Let scripture do it.

Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

The family is not really God but a form of God.

Form means manifestation. Christianity is a form of religion, does that mean it is not religion?

Jesus took on the form of a servant, does that mean he is not a servant?

Let's learn to walk before we learn to run, friend. You're trying to run. My question is of walking.

Keypurr, is it wrong to worship a created being?

Do not compare apples and oranges.

Jesus Christ was a servant of his God.

He glorified his Father.

How many Gods do you have Jamie?
