The news outlets said the shooter was a white kid and possibly motivated by racism. Last year a Muslim thug shot up a supermarket in Colorado with 10 fatalities but the news media did not focus on his skin color or possible racist motivations. Go figger. With democrats, whites are to be demonized, penalized, and punished without mercy, while blacks and Muslims are to be shown empathy and sympathy.

A gunman opened fire in a Colorado supermarket Monday, killing 10 people including a police officer, authorities said. One person was taken into custody at the scene in Boulder, where police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.

Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold identified the slain officer as 51-year-old Eric Talley, who had been with the department since 2010.

Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty said Talley's life was "cut much too short," and said a "painstaking investigation is already underway."

The hate-fueled teen who fatally shot 10 people at a Buffalo supermarket apparently scrawled the name of a woman slain in the Waukesha parade rampage on his gun — adding, ”Here’s your reparations,’’ according to Post law-enforcement sources and reports.
Photos emerged of the rifle used by Payton Gendron, 18, that appear to show the misspelled name of Virginia Sorenson, as well as that of a possible other parade victim, on its barrel, the Daily Beast said.
Gendron added the n-word and, “Here’s your reparations” on the firearm, sources told The Post.

Binghamton is about 200 mi from Buffalo. I wouldn't suspect that Buffalo PD would have known anything about him.

Is it not common practice to put people deemed capable of committing mass murder on a watch list? It's most likely true that the Birmingham police wouldn't know him by sight but I doubt that they were completely ignorant of him.

In an aside NBC published an article on the Buffalo shooting and have already deleted it.

I would suspect that the Broome County State Police would have him in their records, which would be accessible to all State Police jurisdictions and to all other law enforcement organizations in the state. Having said that, nothing I've read indicates that before he started shooting anybody would have had a reason to suspect him and thus investigate him.
