Is the Bible the only sacred texts and why or why not.

To be honest I read it without bias and test it against what I already know of the will of GOD as it pertains to man.

But that is secondary to if it wholly denies Christ came in the flesh for our sake.

Is the Bible the only sacred texts and why or why not.

sacred = entitled to reverence and respect

sacred = of or relating to religion

Now scripture =

sacred

authoritative

God-breathed

now the quran is a religious book sacred to its followers
(sacred = entitled to reverence and respect )

plausible that some unbelievers might hold it as sacred
(sacred = of or relating to religion)

but not sacred to Christians
(sacred = entitled to reverence and respect)

Christians hold the Bible as scripture.
the Bible is sacred , authoritative & God-breathed

Shalom.

I am in the TaNaK, currently Yehoshua - Joshua - Chapter 15.

The Complete Tanach with Rashi's Commentary
English translation with Rashi's commentary

I have read Joshua, Judges, and 1st and 2nd Samuel when I was able to read from an actual book that I was given. I do not remember the spelling. There is the TaNaK, the TaNaKh, and the Tanach.

Shalom.

Does it seem to correlate well with the Torah and the books of the nt that you consider inspired, to you?

Shalom.

I accept the TaNaK and Matthew through Revelation.

The TaNaK is the Torah the Nevi'im and the K'tuvim.

Shalom.

Let it be known that Tambora openly lied.

She isn't even supposed to be posting here according to her word which is evidently worth very little even to her.

Let it be known that I indeed offered to let you and GT have your own thread to discuss and I would not enter it.
But then after that, YOU requested that the thread be for any and all.
Have you changed your mind?
I can leave if you are scared of me being here.

I told you before hand that the book is expressed differently from the Bible to some extent. But you expect verbatim copying of the Bible

It's not that you have not shown it verbatim.
It is that you have not shown that the Quran says that Jesus Christ is the eternal Creator of all creation, as GT requested from you.
You are the one that invited questions and discussion, but you have not shown what GT requested.

Either concede that you are unable to show that from the Quran, or show where the Quran says Jesus Christ is the eternal Creator of creation as Holy Scripture does.

I requested no such thing.

Me saying any can be here has nothing to do with you giving your word that you would not comment.

As are other sacred texts.

As if because one finds truth in more than one text, then they must not be Christian.

Show where the Christ taught that in the Bible.

It doesn't.

But belief that saves isn't belief that Jesus the man was the literal utter fullness of GOD, as physical temporal man.

Or perhaps to you it is. In which case you should be able to explain why GOD sent GOD to be a blood sacrifice to GOD for the sin that was placed in man as potential when they were given freedom and knowingly created with that potential by GOD.

Don't worry; I won't hold my breath.
