Bought one of those last year, great fun in the back yard...it has done a great job of running off the feral stray cats that use to plague the neighbor hood...

Not so good with coyotes, need more CO2, lots more.

:chuckle:

I had a target pistol a while back in .177. I used to sit on my back porch and shoot oranges out in the groves behind the house. The sight alignment practice really improved my handgun accuracy.

It has been called
It drops coyotes at 175 yard eh? Not too excited about that. :)

No, you're right about the distance but it was the only coyote of the day and the first test of the little .17, guess he felt comfortable at that distance, for awhile.

As for TomO, don't be so quick on the trigger, think about what has been said...but if you can't do that you may be busy in the future.:chuckle:

I had mentioned that my mother gave me my Dad's I.N.A. 38 special revolver after he died. I used it for practice when I first got it but now I just keep it ready for you know what I mean. On the link below there are pictures of various 38 specials. The one I have is the one in the top row fourth column from the left (two columns after the Tiger).

I was curious about it and went online and discovered that the INA 38 special is the Brazilian police revolver.

I would like to see Tom O nerf this one. :)

That is why I will get the .357 if I ever pick up one of those. You can use 38 special for plinking and it costs a bit less. Plus there is a guy who sells them on gunbroker for $270 delivered.

I like the Marlin 357 and used some rounds I purchased from a place in Georgia, maybe "Georgia Arms". Anyway, they sell a little 38 with a 115 grain bullet, which is P+ and it shoots well, does about the same as a 357 magnum with a 154 grain, store loads. Not bad for small game. Mine is a good one and will shoot MOA at 50 yds, with that little round and a few 357 rounds. With the heaviest lead bullets, about 185 grain, if memory serves me, it will take a deer in the brush, then so will any 44 magnum, which is also a good round in the Marlin.

Maryland Residents will soon be able to carry concealed weapons.

From WBAL Radio News of Baltimore, Maryland:

A federal judge has lifted a stay on his ruling that a portion of Maryland's gun permit law is unconstitutional.

U.S. District Judge Benson Legg's decision late Monday means that in two weeks Maryland residents will be able to carry handguns without having to show a "good and substantial reason."

After a review, Legg found that the state has not established that the public interest weighs in favor of a stay.

The Maryland attorney general's office has filed a notice on plans to appeal the March ruling.

A spokesman for the attorney general's office told WBAL News that lawyers were reviewing Legg's decision.

“The ruling is under review and the state is considering the options,” spokesman David Paulson told WBAL News.

The case was brought by the Second Amendment Foundation in 2010
