Well, other than "You're a deranged Easter bunny!" and "He's a pink nightmare?"

I appreciate being able to come to a place where it 'seems' caustic but it is really not. It is just the very informal debate tenor. Even people without formal debate background should learn to debate, even if they don't do it well. It is better than shooting and rioting, and else, as the world is doing. Despite protestations, Christians are a good group of people. There is something about the Christ in or around another (or both) that draws those who want/need Christ. Even atheists here, seek Christ. They cannot escape Him. Something keeps them here, and it isn't most of us.

What items are on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?

FYI: all answers are really real.

My top refrigerator door shelf holds a jar of chili sauce, 2 jars of Jalapeño peppers, a jar of Aioli Garlic Mustard sauce, a bottle of soy sauce, and a bag of flaked coconut, a bottle of Starbucks Mocha coffee drink, and a jar of hot horseradish. (I own an oversized refrigerator.)

Would you like to know is what on the second shelf down?

What were the last 5 items you bought at the store?

A case of California Chardonnay Wines and a bottle of Mumm's Rose Champagne. Does that add up to 5?

What are you wearing presently?

The same I wore wine shopping . . . Jeans & sweat-shirt.

What is your first childhood memory?

Being pushed in a stroller by my father through woods next to house. Being taught by father to to say "tree."

If you have a spouse, what is the first thing that attracted you to him/her?

Met my husband back in the 50's, and he looked like a combination of Elvis and Bobby Darin, plus he sang "Love Me Tender" to me sweeter and better than both of them together!

What is your biggest fear?

MADists . . .

Where is/would be your most favorite place to go in all the world?

Nowhere but home. God has blessed me in a beautiful place, in a gorgeous home. I truly already possess my down-payment on my eternal home with Jesus in His glory.

Chunky peanut butter or creamy?

Neither. Have developed an allergy to peanuts in my old age.

What's the last movie you saw? Did you like it?

"Tootsie." I think it was funny, but I hardly remember it . . .

Why do you like TOL?

I have met a few of my precious Christian brethren here, and Knight allows me to confess my testimony to the saving grace of God that saved my soul, despite all opposition to my Reformed views.

What items are on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?

Supplements and a bag of spoiling jalapeños.

What were the last 5 items you bought at the store?

I just got back from the grocery store. If I'm recalling correctly, the last five items I put in the cart were heavy whipping cream, white cheddar, beans, cocoa powder and chicken hearts.

What are you wearing presently?

I'm wearing jeans, a tan short sleeve shirt with a collar and pullover. My boots are off.

What is your first childhood memory?

Unfortunately, my first childhood memory is being in a crib in a room alone.

If you have a spouse, what is the first thing that attracted you to him/her?

Her passion for Christ.

What is your biggest fear?

Failing as a father.

Where is/would be your most favorite place to go in all the world?

Home, where I am now. Yes, I'm that boring.

Chunky peanut butter or creamy?

I like them both. Crunchy goes better with celery. Creamy goes better with tomato and onion in a sandwich. Typically, I buy creamy.

What's the last movie you saw? Did you like it?

Smurfs 2. Yes, I liked it, surprisingly. The kids liked it, of course.

Why do you like TOL?

The people, the ideas, the debates and stuff like this.

This looks pretty easy. Maybe I can handle this. :)
What items are on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?
Milk, juice, bottled water, coffee creamer...
What were the last 5 items you bought at the store?
cat food, cat litter, toilet tissue, frozen dinners, Coke
What are you wearing presently?
shirt, jeans, bedroom shoes...and my daughter's housecoat. It's a little chilly in here.
What is your first childhood memory?
That's a tough one. I would say it was probably being placed on a bed after my aunt rocked me to sleep. I could hear the crickets chirping outside and that sound lulled me into a deeper sleep.
-----
What is your biggest fear?
The first thing I think of is snakes. There was a snake that wrapped around my ankles when I was about five years old. I've had a fear of snakes ever since.
Where is/would be your most favorite place to go in all the world?
Wherever my family is. :cloud9:
Chunky peanut butter or creamy?
Definitely creamy.
What's the last movie you saw? Did you like it?
A movie called Don't Look Back. Well I haven't finished watching it yet so can't really say if I like it or not.
Why do you like TOL?
It's a large forum with interesting discussions. I feel like there is always something that I can learn from others. And hopefully I will have something worthwhile to share here that will be helpful and encouraging.

What items are on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?
Mustard, Sriracha, Plum Jelly.

What were the last 5 items you bought at the store?
Black-eyed peas
Yellow bell pepper
Orange bell pepper
Red onion
Chili ground beef

What are you wearing presently?
Blue polo shirt and light blue shorts.

What is your first childhood memory?
I was ill, and my mother was rocking me.

If you have a spouse, what is the first thing that attracted you to him/her?

A somewhat pompous grad student, teaching the first college class either of us attended, said something asinine, and she called him out on it. I was smitten immediately. Her dorm was on the way back to the place I lived, and I would follow her, afraid to say anything to her, thinking I'd do it wrong, and ruin everything. Eventually, I got up the nerve to talk to her, and we've been together since.

What is your biggest fear?

About equally afraid of heights and enclosed spaces. Being trapped in a box on the top of a radio tower is my worst nightmare.

Where is/would be your most favorite place to go in all the world?

There's a little place above the river on the bluffs near my childhood home. It was a little hollow, with limestone walls on each side, and leaf litter with all sorts of interesting things living there. I used to hike out there and just sit and watch the river and think.

It's now developed and one can't go there, even if it still existed like that.

Chunky peanut butter or creamy?

Don't care much for either.

What's the last movie you saw? Did you like it?

Third Hobbit film. It was great cinema, and I completely enjoyed it, but it deviated from the book too much for me. On the other hand, it did a great job of bringing some characters to life.

Much as I liked the elf/dwarf romance, I doubt very much if Tolkien would have liked it.

Why do you like TOL?

Same reason I enjoy visiting the zoo.

I always like these. :)

What items are on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?
The usual. Jam, Aloe Vera gel, a dark chocolate coconut cream confection and my wife's fancy mustard.

What were the last 5 items you bought at the store?
A pound of Boar's Head Golden turkey, artisan bread, tomatoes, mixed greens and baked chips.

What are you wearing presently?
Comfortable jeans and a pull over my wife likes.

What is your first childhood memory?
I'm being lifted into the air by my nanny's husband, Junior. For some reason it's the first face that I can bring to mind. Probably because he was a black man and it was a novel thing in my very young life at that point.

If you have a spouse, what is the first thing that attracted you to him/her?
Legs/form. she was a sprinter and a dancer and I saw her walking across campus in a miniskirt. She moved like jazz in sunlight. But the clincher was her laugh.

What is your biggest fear?
Failing my son.

Where is/would be your most favorite place to go in all the world?
I'm already there. If not here a mile from here on my river.

Chunky peanut butter or creamy?
Creamy and natural. Skippy. Though their regular PB is horrible.

What's the last movie you saw? Did you like it?
 Noah. No. But I'd read the book. :)

Why do you like TOL?
Because it's helped me grow in about every way that's meaningful to me.
