You are making a HUGE blunder just as the religious, denominational system does when you say that different gospels are the same, different churches are the same. You even mix up baptisms. It is easily shown that they differ and how many times will it need to be demonstrated to you for you to believe? There is more than one gospel in the Bible, more than one church in the Bible, more than one way God demonstrates grace in the Bible, and most certainly more than one baptism in the Bible. And since we are commanded to 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV, it's on you to determine from the context which gospel, church or baptism is in view. Don't be as the religious! Approve things that are excellent (which is approving things that differ) because when you don't, you're an offence (Philippians 1:9-10 KJV)!

Good post. Turbo is mighty confused.

You can't show anywhere that the Spirit baptized those at Pentecost into the Body of Christ. Also, the Spirit did not add those of Acts 2, 3, 4, 5... to the church (the church of God) such as should be saved, but the Lord. Things that are different are not the same and are not meant for you to muddy by trying to make them the same.

AMEN!

No the Spirit didn't baptize, the apostles did. They received the Holy Spirit. What were they added to if not Christ?

Isn't this the church Jesus died for?
Acts 5:11 And great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard of these things.

They were being saved.
Acts 2:47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

There is only one way to be saved and that is in Christ.

In order to be "In Christ" one must have the Holy Spirit dwelling
in them and they must be in the "Body of Christ." In other words:
In Christ and Christ in them.

Til you sort out the actual sense of Romans 11, round and you will go - your tail; your notions.

It throws off many - even within MAD. So, I do not expect you to fare any better if you don't bother either.

I'm curious in your understanding what kingdom Paul is talking about?
Col. 1:13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Have you ever been filled with the Holy Spirit, and what is the evidence that you have...LA

Goose bumps?

A "sense of God..."?

Feeling physically light as a feather and warm all over even though standing out in the cold?

Feeling moved by the rhythm with which someone is preaching while organ music does its part in the background?

Paul is referring to the kingdom of God. It couldn't be the kingdom of heaven as Paul could not have been forgiven under the gospel of the kingdom ("neither in this world, neither in the world to come" Matthew 12:31-32 KJV) so it would be impossible for him to be preaching the kingdom of heaven.

Please notice that those who are in the Body are already transferred to the kingdom of His dear Son, as in:

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

The Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God are the same Kingdom.

Jesus is one King with one Kingdom.

You are trying to say that the 120 and the 3000 were not in the Kingdom of Gods Son.

False.

I believe the kingdom of heaven is in the kingdom of God kind of like the state of Texas is in the United States. Not all believers are citizens of Texas, but we're all citizens of the United States. Likewise, not all believers are in the kingdom of heaven, but all believers are in the kingdom of God.

Terrible analogy.

The U.S. is not a kingdom.

This is one more thing that the trinity doctrine muddies up.

It's about who is in charge.

God's son is in charge of the kingdom now.

Same kingdom different heads.

Analogies do fall short, but I happen to think the one I used suited just fine to the point I was making.

This has nothing to do with "trinity" doctrine. Your comments are out in left field on a regular basis.

I disagree. There is a god of this world running the show down here right now (Luke 4:5-6 KJV, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 KJV, Ephesians 6:12 KJV)
