Colossians 1:16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

The verse says, For BY HIM.....not in Him.

Nothing about the "body of Christ".

hahahaha Even if you don't like the translation I chose, it is still THROUGH AND BY THE BODY OF CHRIST.

Where's the verse backing up what you affirm?

The universe was made in him.

Colossians 1:16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

John 1:3
Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.

John 1:10
He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.

Hebrews 1:2
But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.

Romans 11:36
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist.

Jesus reconciles everything though him, again. Reconcile means again.

Ephesians 1:10
as a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ.

Colossians 1:20
and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross.

Revelation 3:14 "And to the minister of the Church at Laodicea write as follows: "'This is what the Amen says--the true and faithful witness, the Beginning and Lord of God's Creation.

I understand all things were created by Him, for Him, and through Him. That is not what you posted, though, is it? :chew:

You specifically said all things were created by the BODY OF CHRIST. You can't change the scripture to fit what YOU say, Gut. You have to change what YOU say to fit what Scripture says.

John 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist.

Colossians 1:16
For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Do you know what RECONCILIATION MEANS?

It means ALL USED TO BE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST, and NOW is RECONCILED, by Christ.

We are back where we were from the beginning.

God made everything through, by, for, the body of Christ.

Now all have to go through the body of Christ to be reconciled to God.

You say Israelites, Jews, were never in the body of Christ! lol

You say they weren't and are not.

You make NO SENSE.

Jesus taught the ISRAELITES, the JEWS, when he walked the earth that they must come into his body.

John 6:53 Jesus said to them, "Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Romans 5:10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

2 Corinthians 5:18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

2 Corinthians 5:20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Ephesians 2:16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

We see that from the beginning all things were created through Jesus, now Jesus through his body reconciles himself and all things to him again.

Colossians 1:20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Colossians 1:22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

Dangerous? Dangerous to Satan and false doctrines.

Satan is not afraid of someone who says that the ones who already belong to him have to OBEY Jesus' commandments TO BE SAVED.

So, what is YOUR definition of the Body of Christ.

I am doing no such thing that you accuse me of doing

Jesus existed in heaven before the creation of anything, and then all things were made in him, by him, through him, and for him.

ALL have to believe and obey Jesus to be saved, and to stay saved.

ALL have to believe

Absolutely correct.

and obey Jesus to be saved,

Why do you have to ADD to Jesus Christ and His finished/completed work on the Cross of Calvary.

and to stay saved.

Continue to BELIEVE that Jesus Christ and His finished/completed work on the Cross of Calvary was/is what has done everything for anybody to be saved.

By ADDING your obedience to His glorious work, you are saying that Him and what He did not suffice to save you and you have to ADD to your salvation; therefore, negating His.

It is not wrong to obey the WORD.

The Word is the words of God.

How do you ever get that it is wrong to obey the words of God?

Who has so led you into such confusion?
