What does it mean?
I think it's like when Mr. Incredible's homing device went off and those glom cannons shot sticky black swelling gloms at him.
What does it mean?
Oh! No, I was totally repulsed by that stuff. One eighty from where I was.
You were stuck in the white room, with black curtains?
Don't they all?:chuckle:
You were stuck in the white room, with black curtains?
You were stuck in the white room, with black curtains?
In Catania, Sicily, where I lived from '70 thru '72, the train station where we would catch the train north to Rome, had white rooms and black curtains. That song was always playing in my head when I was there.
For example, many a secular historian also hold that Peter and Paul had preached different gospels.
They both preached the same Gospel.
There is only one Gospel.
Paul explained much of the details of the Gospel which Peter preached.
It is only that Paul spoke many things for the church of this age which will be unnecessary in the next.
However both Peter and Paul spoke of the present things as well.
1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1Pe 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1Pe 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1Pe 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
1Pe 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
1Pe 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Acts 10:35 (AKJV/PCE)(10:35) But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Titus 3:4-5 (AKJV/PCE)(3:4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, (3:5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
These are NOT the same. They are INCOMPATIBLE with each other.
I'm sorry that you cannot understand something so simple.
Same Gospel . . Sinners are saved by the righteousness of Jesus Christ which enables them to live righteously.

So you think that Peter was talking about Christ doing the work in Acts 10:35?But if Christ is the one who does the working of the righteousness, they are the same.
