ECT What's MAD?

Is that a fact? So differently in fact we have this account,,

20When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to Paul: “You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews have believed, and all of them are zealous for the law. 21They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs. 22What shall we do? They will certainly hear that you have come, 23so do what we tell you. There are four men with us who have made a vow. 24Take these men, join in their purification rites and pay their expenses, so that they can have their heads shaved. Then everyone will know there is no truth in these reports about you, but that you yourself are living in obedience to the law. 25As for the Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.”

26The next day Paul took the men and purified himself along with them. Then he went to the temple to give notice of the date when the days of purification would end and the offering would be made for each of them.

I'd say this passage demonstrates the unity of the disciples and Paul. Paul listened to Peter and demonstrated that he is living in obedience to the law.

Furthermore, the above says nothing about a difference in Gospel. Rather this demonstrates the unclear transition from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant, and understanding what that means. Did gentiles need to be under the yoke of the Old Covenant in order to partake of the New? Both the disciples and Paul agree - no, they don't need to.

Just did earlier, scroll for it. Just make sure you have your reading comprehension thing going for you

I didn't see it. Can you post again?

Also, how do you preach the same gospel to a man who was born and raised under the Law of Moses to a man who has no idea who Moses was?

heir and STP make fun of churches, pastors, and people who attend churches.

Neither of them go to church.

They are both followers of Darby and Bullinger, and think they are "too smart" for a church and/or pastor.

Prove that you go to "church," and that you do not follow men, like Hank Hanegraaff, and other Preterist "teachers."

Wimpy won't touch this post, as he knows I will expose him for the habitual liar that he is.

Your wife does not attend church, nor do your children.

Some MADists go to church, but most of them here on TOL do not.

STP, heir, and Little Johnny W do NOT go to church.

Like I said, they are followers of John Nelson Darby and E.W. Bullinger, and they think they are "too smart" to go to, and/or belong to a local church.

Might as well, most churches don't have any problem with their "your works cannot save you" doctrine anyway.

MADist have extreme hate for Jesus' simple teachings. The difference is that they honestly admit they don't honor Jesus' teachings.

They don't. They do not belong to church assemblies and they do not believe in good works of the Spirit, and they do not accept any form of Scripture taught, except what they find and interpret for themselves from their King James Version bibles.

They do not believe in the spiritual wisdom of early Christians, passed down through historical and sound Confessions or Church Creeds.

They are isolationists, cultists, impervious to learning from, as well as reluctant to serving, confessing Christians who testify scriptural faith.

IOW''s they are a religious sect.
Gnostic in the extreme.

Not part of the spiritual church body of Jesus Christ in any way, shape, or form of truthfulness . . .

Yep.

The verse MADists hate:

(Romans 12:1 KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

MADists claim to follow Paul, yet they ignore what Paul says above.

Your old lady wife, that bleached blonde, does not go to church, as she is not a Christian, and she does not allow you to take your children to "church," balding wimp.

Like I said, Preterists do not believe that there is just one gospel of Christ that saves.

Whatis up with calling people names? But hey glory to God right John?(your motto)

Good one. Pay attention to others' posts-"calling people names." You must be tanked.

Wimpy Tet. and nasty Naggie are 2 of the biggest name callers on TOL.

That's your way of admitting that you don't go to church.

Clavinsts are satanic.

So there.

" they are a religious sect."-nasty

Clueless. Since this wolf-ette/droid merely glances at the bible, and insstead, studies her "church" SOF," and John Calvin articles/books/manifesto, she does not know that Christianity is a "sect."

Want the scriptures, laughing stock?

I thought so.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
