That goes double for me with the music you posted. I'm just temporarily locked from giving you pos reps.

I have a couple of albums by Matchbox 20, I really like Alter Bridge, and Living Colours' Cult of Personality. You see to picking music from my CD collection. How are you able to do that?

Obviously we are both music lovers :)

I remember when Momentary Lapse of Reason was released. Friend after friend @ university were shocked that Pink Floyd went on without Roger Waters, I wasn't. The album itself, was mostly recorded on Gilmour's house boat. :D

The Divinyls - Back To the Wall

Chrissy Amphlett of the Divinyls passed away from cancer earlier this year, she was a true pioneer paving the way for other women in rock, one of a kind. I like their earlier stuff before the international hit "I touch myself" in 1991 (when they signed over to Virgin their sound got somewhat 'commercialized', a slight change from their earlier more primal raw edgy stuff). Anyways,...retro-reflecting to some earlier rock n roll memories, a nice break on occasion from my typical new-age meditation music :)

Amphlett death leaves rock world mourning, but celebrating magic touch

To the art,

The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR2JlDnT2l8

I have spent many a day hiking to the sound of larks.

:D

I took nephew over to pick up a Little Caesars quick pizza the other day and circling over the parking lot I saw 2 white birds. I stared through the windshield, taking in the beauty of these 2. When Will returned I asked if he saw those 2 white birds flying around, he said he thought they were Pelicans. I pointed out the windshield as one bird came close enough and stopped full spread 10 or 15 ft in front of us, floating, both of us said hawk at the same time. I've not seen a white hawk in this neck of the woods, let alone 2.

Forgotten Land

lyrics
Spoiler
Look at this field my son
Deserted, empty place
Where the dead silence feeds on lost whispers
There was a Kingdom here
A city full of life
Songs of its praise were being sung by the mountains
Oh, listen to them now

People felt strong and powerful
Proud of their wealth
All of them believed they were kings of the whole world
They started to take more
And crossed the borderlines
Called themselves gods above everything and everyone
Oh, listen to them now

Faster and faster
Higher and higher
Great temples of gold grew taller and glittered in the sun
Gods, too sure of themselves
Never lost their pride
Even when the altars and monuments started to collapse

Oh, how quickly they died
Oh, how quickly they turned into
The dust of the forgotten land

Listen intently
Souls are crying
This is the song of the forgotten land
