I take it that you do believe we are trapped in a dead decaying body after our body dies EVEN THOUGH the Bible plainly says that a body without the spirit is dead; James 2:26.

According to you, a body is dead with the spirit. God giving us a spirit makes our body ALIVE. Think about it some more.

As for the scriptures you referenced, you forgot the scriptures about how Jesus BRINGS WITH HIM THE SPIRITS OF THOSE who died. Jesus brings the spirits that were with him and then they come up from the ground in their new bodies.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

The Bible does not say jesus brings the spirits of the dead with Him.

Jesus brings with Him the raised saints, who He has bought up from the graves previous to His coming down from Heaven to the clouds where He had bought them up to--

Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
Rev 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

As to their spirit being with the bones in the grave--

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Revelation has many symbols just the same.

1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

His body was human as He was born of a woman. Are you trying to say that He did not possess a human body?

He has a resurrected body.

We will have a body like his when we are resurrected.

1 John 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

1 Corinthians 15:37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else.

Jesus is God and had a body before coming to earth, his body is like the one we will receive at the resurrection.

you think that because you believe Jesus was the Father before Jesus was born, and you think Jesus has gone back to being the Father again.

You have no resurrected man in Heaven with the Father, which equates to having no mediator for yourself.

None of those scriptures say our spirits stay in our bones. That is beyond ridiculous.

Those scriptures are about a physical resurrection.

Not really, because on one hand you believe Jesus went to hell for the three days of His death, yet now you claim Jesus went to paradise with the thief immediately upon their deaths.

Crazy thou art.

One thing your forgetting...

When Jesus said, "today you will be with me in Paradise," it's possible he was speaking not as just a man, but as the triune God. "Today you will be with Me (the Father) in paradise."

There are three.

Try harder to pay attention when you debate someone.

God the Father is INVISIBLE. That means SPIRIT.

God the Father made Himself a body, a SPIRITUAL BODY of the Man Jesus; and then made the universe through him, for him, and to him.

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

Spirits don't say with their bones. Are they guarding them? lol

2Ki 13:20 And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.
2Ki 13:21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

Calling a believer Satan isn't an attack?

If it fits, wear it proudly.

Show how the doctrine she speaks of is of Satan or stop decieving people knowingly, which is, by the way, the work of the deciever.

So, you agree with gt, that you need to help Jesus Christ and His finished/completed work on the Cross of Calvary by helping Him with your obedience, your works, etc., etc., etc. as if Jesus needs you to save you.

Blind people really shouldn't be guides lest they and all who follow them walk straight way into a pit.

You should follow your own admonition.

If He were not capable to remember the thief, He was probably incapable to remember that He was dying for the sin of the world.

Pretty sure his body beared the scars of his crucifixion at that time.

So, He no longer bears the scars of His crucifixion?

Could you try more please.

What?

I'm not denying a new body after the second coming or end time.

Who said you were?

I'm denying that any will be safe from experiencing death, except for those taken up upon the tribulation.

What are you saying?

Thank you, excellent.

lifeisgood wants you to stand by while another Christian gets attacked. That is just plain wrong.
Not only that, lifeisgood talks about me to you in many posts! He/she involves you and then tells you to stay out of it!

Oh, wear your 'I'm being attacked' badge with honor, gt.

I do not attack you personally, gt.

YOUR doctrine that's another story.

BTW: I, lifeisgood, did not involve popsthebuilder. I told popsthebuilder to not butt into the conversation. He even complained that I asked him not to butt into the conversation. That he was going to butt in anyway, which he did.
