Was Lucifer a perfect creation?
You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.
(Ezekiel 28:15)
You seem to miss the qualifying statement that tells you in what way Lucifer was perfect. He was perfect in his ways, not in his being. Not only that, but the Hebrew word translated as "perfect" here means complete, whole, or without blemish. Furthermore, "from the day you were created, until iniquity was found in you" sets the timeframe in which Lucifer was without blemish. It in no way says that Lucifer was perfectly created.
I realize that this is a statement meant to "put me in my place" so-to-speak, but, as I have stated above, this verse in no way claims that Lucifer was perfectly created. Furthermore, if I was indeed trying to dispute this verse, I would be disputing God, not Ezekiel because the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel telling him to say that to the King.
How about Adam?
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. (Genesis 1:31)
Was Adam a faulty creation?
God saw everything that he made, and indeed it was what? Perfect? No, it was very good. Very good isn't even close to perfect. Man wasn't even made equal with the angels; man was made a little lower than the angels, at least for as long as we remain in the physical realm. (Psalms 8:5) If man is a little lower than the angels, how can we claim to have been perfectly created?
We know everything was created through Christ, do you believe Christ was an incompetent or inexperienced craftsman?
Not by any means, I do however believe that God is sovereign and had a purpose for making man imperfect.
