firstborn=Jesus.....even though He wasn't born at creation.

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18)

But now Christ is risen from the dead and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. (1 Corinthians 15:20)

Firstfruits equates to firstborn.

But I received a much deeper faith in my God and his Son. I was given the opportunity to share what I have been given. The rewards are greater that the price paid. Seek ye first the kingdom of God my friend.

You are forfeiting the kingdom of God and consigning yourself to the second resurrection. But the first resurrection is the better resurrection. (Revelation 20:6)

Agree, but that is only part of it.

The express image son is first born of all creatures.

Firstborn uses two meanings in Col 1:15.
Preeminence and first to be born.

Consider if you see a difference between Spirit and a Spirit.

Jesus does not live in me, Christ (spirit) does.

God works through the Holy Spirit, is it save to think that his exact image would to likewise?

Jesus says that he himself will live in the saved.

So are you denying that Jesus himself lives in you?

John 17:26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."

And you do not have the truth friend. Don't you realize that many here are trying to restore to fellowship with God?
My valued friend I have never been closer to my God and my Lord as I am at this moment. I realize the great folks on this site that care for my soul. But what I do, I do for my creator. Most will not understand fully what I see in scripture. I no longer see what they still believe in. That is their choice and I love them as brothers no matter what.

I may be wrong but at 81 my time is short. But I have no fear for I trust him to judge me fairly.

If you had understood my words you would not be asking me that question GT. Christ is in me, not Jesus.

What do you consider the beginning BR?

I would say when the creation took place.

God created all through his spirit son. (Logos)

Why are you not seeing that?

That is Jesus. Why can't you see that?

Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh. He was found in appearance as a man. Jesus was made like a man.

Philippians 2:7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-- even death on a cross!

Hebrews 2:17 For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people

Romans 1:3 regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David,

Romans 8:3
For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh,

That person who suffered and died was Jesus, the Man, who came from heaven, and whose Spirit is the Spirit of God the Father, and that is why he is called the Christ.
