Spoiler

According to Joss Whedon, during the DVD commentary for the pilot episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the term "phlebotinum" originates from Buffy writer (and Angel co-creator) David Greenwalt's sudden outburst: "Don't touch the phlebotinum!".

The Oscars have always been worthless awards for pretty people adept at reading other people's fairy tale scripts. Now it's also become a political tool either to reward or to punish.

Andrew Jackson fought more than 100 duels.

yeah, i was thinking jackson or eisenhower - lifelong military men

Ford is thought to have been our most athletic modern president, by those whose thinking isn't driven by chevy chase

truman was a tough little bastard

fdr had the advantage of being difficult to hit, and his punches would be at groin level

how about grant?

I guess we have to pick weapons. Ford could have played professional football but instead went to Yale to be a boxing coach and assistant football coach then on to be a Navy Officer in the 40s so maybe a little light on the sword skills but sounds pretty formidable in his prime for boxing or any kind of hand to hand. If we're using swords that's another dimension. Seems like Grant might be at the tail end of guys that would use swords frequently and practice all the time if at all.
George W Bush can fly a Jet Fighter.
