You don't get it: the urantia UFO cult garbage has nothing to do with the true and living God, nor does it have anything to do with Christianity - except being anti-Christ and anti-Christian. It's a total fabrication - FICTION.

The obvious fact here is that he's targeted the UB for his 'trolling' and 'ridicule'...it becoming an obsession. It could also be his penchant for drama, his general boredom, and other psychological factors where he cannot resist such behavior, which doesn't show much of the Holy Spirit in control, since one of His fruits of the Sprit is 'self-control'. His only MO is to constantly ridicule. That's all. - and that's sad. He hasn't yet shown the intellectual capacity to actually engage the subject seriously, nor shown an intent to do so.
The truth is, even for all his fan-fare and 'flaming', a serious person will study the material for himself, do his own research to determine what is true or false about any allegations or claims. All that info. has been provided for a platform for discussion. An integrous person would consider all the data, postulate or further research into matters thru his own study, share his viewpoints, and move along afterwards if he no longer wishes to engage. - not continually TROLL the thread.
The UB opens the whole spectrum of theology up, to explore on a number of subjects. Its discourses on Religion are here.

You'll note that this rule applies primarily to single posters infiltrating and imposing their posts into an already existing thread, making 'outlandish, crazy statements merely to get a rise out of the membership and cause trouble'. This is EXPRESSLY what GM is doing in this thread. Therefore he is VIOLATING this rule, and others.
Since this thread IS on the subject of the UB, then Caino or anyone else has the right to share its contents and have those points open for discussion. If you find any points 'outlandish' or 'crazy', you can address those in a discussion on the subject. Hence the purpose of the thread. However, you are not encouraged to stay and TROLL a thread just to pester and ridicule the subject and those discussing it.
What remains is the challenge for some close-minded folks to pursue a 'creative dialogue' with one such as myself, or with a more devout UB enthusiast such as Caino, to get different perspectives. I don't see whats so difficult about that. A book with 196 papers offers a lot to discuss, on many different levels.

* Torturing and killing Jesus after a trumped up trial was a Sin regardless of what the Roman middle men have told you. Jesus tried to reach the Jews with his original gospel......the fact that he was rejected and killed as a human sacrifice is ---->your gospel<----not mine. Killing Jesus was blasphemy of the highest degree! The Jews lost their stewardship and have suffered tremendously as a result.

Urantia people need to understand the Spiritual necessity of canonicity. ONLY Apostles and Prophets could write scripture which were also authenticated by the prophetic and Apostolic office. That means, God first authenticated these people as His instruments, and then, by virtue of their authority penned God's words. Mormons and Urantians 'tried' this exactly backwards. They penned by magically appearing golden plates and magically appearing type written papers which rely on 'mystique' rather than God's authentication.
Both Mormons and Urantians believe based of emotionalism AND a rejection of Biblical truth that they claim is a perversion. The Urantian movement AND presence on TOL is a direct attack upon God, the Cross, Christ, The Holy Spirit, the Church, and Scripture. Because of this, Urantians must come to understand you are enemies to the Cross, Christ, the Church, and Scripture. As soon as you get this point, you'll start making sense of your troubled world. No complaint coming from this thread is going to have any traction. You are enemies, regardless of not liking that status. That Borg assimilation ideology doesn't like that ostracism, but throwing out any part of orthodoxy is a rejection of it all. A rejection of Christianity is your own choosing. You are called by scripture 'enemies of the cross.' Philippians 3:18
Lon your argument of canonicity is an artificial construct of the institutional church which has been used to control your thinking as well as the general community. The same church has used your bogus argument to commit any number of atrocities. By first falsely claiming that God wrote the heavily redacted scripture books, any disagreement is then an artificial blasphemy. The same kinds of people made the same kinds of arguments in order to withstand Jesus' gospel, but you are unable to understand that. Rather than listen with your heart you are blinded by authoritarianism and false religious pride.
The Urantia Book stands on its own merits, it has already begun to be validated by scientific finding not known in the age it was revealed.
We should be friends in our faith in Jesus Christ regardless of theological differences, but you chose to make us an artificial enemy. And my gosh, look at how much of an audience the Atheist are given on this site while you battle us????
