Well... I have to say. As the first eclipse, and certainly the first total eclipse, that I've ever seen, that was completely epic!
Got as many photos as I could, unfortunately, my phone's camera wouldn't focus properly during totality, so I was unable to get photos of the total eclipse, but I got a bunch from the hour leading up to it.
Here is the album (I apologize for the quality):

Photos were taken with my Google Pixel XL's camera, through my solar eclipse glasses. I had no manual control of focus, only zoom and aperture.

Wow! It's almost as though the moon (or something) moved and occupied a space between the earth and the sun!
I wonder why the eclipse was visible to so many people at so many different locations?? If the sun and moon are only about 300 miles high the eclipse should have only been visible to those directly under it. :think:
