In many places Christians gravitate to politicians who express their Christian solidarity with fellow humans. On the US right you conflate Christianity with Right Wing politics, so you became convinced that those on the left can't be Christians and that right wing policies take on some sort of religious infallibility.
But that is only 'obvious' to you because of the religious-right 'bubble' you live in. There are plenty of Christians who are not right wingers, even in the US, and the insistence that Christians have to have a certain politics will only drive more of them out of your religion.
It appears as if you speak in "Generalities" and tend to exaggerate. Have you always had a problem with that or is it just since the election?
