Vice President JD Vance noted on Fox News on Wednesday: “I think we’re going to see those deportation numbers ramp up as we get more and more people online working for ICE, going door-to-door and making sure that if you’re an illegal alien, you’ve got to get out of this country and if you want to come back, apply for the proper channels.”

Acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons says his agency, along with the Department of Homeland Security, have been going "door-to-door" in Minnesota to visit companies accused of hiring those living in the country illegally, as well as businesses that are potentially involved in human trafficking and recent fraud cases.

Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a news conference on Thursday that DHS would "continue to operate on the ground in Minnesota, not only to remove criminal illegal aliens, but also to continue conducting door-to-door investigations of the rampant fraud that has taken place in the state."
