People selling their food stamps is a rarity, because most people just aren't inclined to do it. What a recipient may do is offer to get groceries for somebody and use their card while keeping the cash- in which case, the person offered wouldn't even know.

They'll use that cash for cigarettes, gas, or beer.

Your post reminds me of the reality.

Once, while at one of those chain of Discount stores, I couldn't help notice the cashier had both her wrists in bandages.

It turned out the rigors of all that cashiering to one loooong line of people day after day, had given her carpol tunnel syndrome.

But she had continued to work because such jobs no longer have to offer medical benefits; her pay was lousy, and she desperately needed the job.

I've long lost track of the many people I have met over the years in a simular predicament.

Already going from bad enough to worse under that fraud now in the White House, and the further protections - protections costly to Corporate America - that he and his cronies have just signed into the further removing of.

Walmart offers medical benefits. You have no clue what you are talking about.

How do you know those bandages were for carpal tunnel (which is a legal disability that qualifies for disability see us.gov and look it up) and how do you not know that perhaps she attempted suicide, or just got a couple new bleeding tattoos?

Get a better crying story, that one has holes big enough to drive truck through expecially for anyone who knows anything about wal mart and carpal tunnel.

Wal mart has always offered their employees health insurance. Nick is right, you are quite the liar.

I've been guilted to discontinue shopping at Walmart.

Many of the employees at our local Walmart are seniors who are struggling to make ends meet. There are several who give me big smiles and even hugs. We pray for one another.

There are always opportunities to bring the joy of our Lord, Jesus to others.

Don't mean to sound sappy, but I just love the folks who work at our Walmart.

Let me recap for you.

Anybody ever notice how much liberals hate walmart while claiming to be for the poor? Walmart hires people with no job skills and sells products people less affluent can afford. Walmart did more for poor people than any food stamp ever. And the left hates them.

Walmart does more for people than food stamps, which are paid for by the tax payers. You disagree. You said so right here.

Before Barry O, it was pretty easy to get a full time job so long as their were jobs to be had.

Unless it is blue collar, you almost certainly will not find a full time job from any entry level position- and by extension no benefits.

The bad economy is not just from Jimmy Carter, Bill Blythe-Clinton and Barry Soetoro-Obama. Many failures in American business are idiots from lean manufacturing/six sigma attitudes that think they are smarter than Henry Ford.
