I mean you can say "Idiot backwards, moronic-half-human-excuse, too-stupid-to-breath retarded half-wit, brain-dead spawn of siblings, slack-jawed, drop-out, bus-licker!" or you can say "the world of education has not been kind to you" to soften the blow. To me, going even further down the line like "you 'seem' possibly incapable of reasoned conclusion" seems whimpy but perhaps even "you might want to try rethinking this a bit" might go completely under the radar sweet-old-grandma style.
