ECT A Question For the Preterists

The hard sayings were to get Israel to wake up so they would get to work in his mission. They may not work with other ethnicities. Aramaic was very graphic. 'Go and sin no more' to that woman in Jn 8 is actually closer to 'Get out of here and knock it off.' Ie, not the warmest farewell.

So according to your ideas there will be unsaved people in the new heavens and the new earth despite the fact "there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life" (Rev.21:27).

All you prove over and over is that you have no respect for what is actually written in the Scriptures.

Jerry , you have confused the tribulation period (7) years with when the culmination of all things has happened and Jesus returns with the city of New Jerusalem to establish His eternal kingdom . Re-read it Jerry !

Welcome back, dodge, and....

lol - you holding to a 7 year Tribulation :chuckle:

According to Dispensationalists who hold the futurist view, the Tribulation is thought to occur before the Second Coming of Jesus and during the End Times. In this view, the Tribulation will last seven prophetic Hebrew years (lasting 360 days each) in all but the Great Tribulation will be the second half of the Tribulation period (see Matt 24:15 and Matt 24:21 showing the Great Tribulation is after the Abomination of Desolation, which marks the midpoint of the Tribulation).

Nevertheless, Romans 5:8.

do you think 21:1 is in the category of a 'return'?

Yes, it defines what kind of messiah and king we have.
1Pet 1:11-14 (AKJV/PCE)
(1:11) Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. (1:12) Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1:13) Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;(1:14) As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

NOTE: The FUTURE grace!

It's like the game 'telephone' that you used to play as a kid.

After a 100 generations of passing down our interpretations of the scriptures, some of them are pretty far from the originals. It turns out nothing can cloud the meaning of Scripture quite like a long tutelage in their meaning, under the auspices of an erroneous tradition.

You're hilarious. Someone needs a reality check.

Yes, there is both. Re Christ, the glory that followed was the enthronement in Acts 2, which David said he foresaw. Because he was enthroned, he is to be preached everywhere to all men , to obey the Son, lest he be angry (Ps 2), so that all men come to the obedience of faith.

The great fabricator, hard at work again.

The "enthronement glory" does NOT happen until HE RETURNS.

Matt 25:31-33 (AKJV/PCE)
(25:31) ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (25:32) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats: (25:33) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Why is truth so hard for you to accept?

Hey RD,
are you going to 'cancel' grace just because one passage mentions that it is also future? Hmmmmm.
Nope, I'm not the great cancellator.

Your problem (one of MANY) is that you do not understand that there can be multiple ways that God works.

THAT grace is NOT the same as the dispensation of the grace of God that we NOW enjoy.
