Why Homosexuality MUST Be Recriminalized! Part 6

The Apostles are in the Bible, and they taught it was grave matter. No, similarly for "If your eye causes you to sin . . . ." The context was looking upon a woman to lust for her. Points for imagination. The Catholic Church is the Church in the Bible. Not equal in all ways, just in...

Why Homosexuality MUST Be Recriminalized! Part 6

No, it's actually Apostolic and always has been, and even the Lord Jesus Himself obliquely taught that it was a grave sin to practice. "If your hand causes you to sin . . . . " I judge same-sex masturbatory behavior the same as all masturbatory behavior, and so does the Church. They if done...

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

Is the Holy City "Jerusalem which is above" (Gal4:26), or is it "Jerusalem which now is" (Gal4:25)? "[He] who was of the bondwoman" (Gal4:23), "Agar" (Gal4:24), "mount Sinai" (Gal4:25) and "Jerusalem which now is" (ibid.) all represent the same thing. "Jerusalem which is above" represents "the...

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

But it's literally "the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven" in the KJB. Do you deny that this is the same entity as in Galatians 4:26 ("Jerusalem which is above")? I don't have any reason to think these are different. Agreed.

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

You think "all" in Galatians 4:26 includes the Lord Jesus? I read that as all men, like us and the Apostles, but not to include the Son of God too. Besides, are you disagreeing that your scripture in Revelation and Galatians 4:26 refer to the same entity?

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

That's "Jerusalem which is above" from Galatians 4:26, "the mother of us all". Said by Paul, to the Gentile Galatians.

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

Right, but if you can demonstrate that the Apostles themselves believe it, then that would make it right.

    Constitutional Monarchy

No, I hold that morality is objective as an absolute. I don't hold that morality is subjective at all. It's important for me to clarify, that I mean by morality and morals, not "the moral of the story" or even when we talk about someone having either good or loose morals. I mean by...

Right, not typically, but mass murderers frequently do, in fact it's typical that a mass murder /massacre ends in the death of the mass murderer, whether by his (they're only males) hand or someone else's. Boulder is an exception that proves the rule, rather than typical of these infernal...

I once advocated a return to this, but not that we actually do it, but that we make it abundantly clear that some crimes by rights deserve this punishment, and that when we don't punish our capital criminals in this way, it is a mercy to them, and perhaps if we all understood the gravity of the...

    Constitutional Monarchy

It makes a difference because it's the institutions of liberal democracy, or just liberalism, that define the liberal regime, of which most of the world's developed nations are right now, I'm not sure that there's any real exception. The liberal institutions are guarded jealously in...

Did you see the pope come out in favor of Church marriage recently? He was unambiguous about it. It was so clearly spoken that many supporters of this pope were saddened because they had thought that he and the magisterium were working to change Catholic teachings on marriage (found in the...

Something's coming. I don't know what or when but the Supreme Court looks like they're fixing to weigh in on the Second Amendment again, it would be the first time since 2010 really, since the 2014 ruling was just a clinic on how to interpret their 2008 ruling. Justices like Thomas are...

His closing comment was something like Let's not target the Constitutional rights of innocent people. You'd think there'd be a lot of bipartisan support for something like that. But nope.

Disagree with the "unhinged mind" and "insane" talk---these mass murderers are not injured in the brain, they are mass murderers. To think of them as some sort of victim is sick. They can choose to not mass murder, they just don't.

Re: Boulder. If I were in that store, and that store were around here, I would have only had a handgun to defend myself and others. It was good that it was just one guy /murderer, that would have given me a chance, but if I had a rifle only out in my car, then it would have done me no good...
