Personally, I don't consider obedience to God to be either mythical or born of corrupt understandings.
I find it is a way to manifest my love for both God and my fellow residents of earth.
Different "word".
There was a Word, and He took on flesh and became Jesus Christ.
There is also a printed word we can take with us every where we go.
I love both, but only one died for my sins.
There is no confusion involved in serving God.
In fact, it is written..."But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2 Cor 11:3)
If a man is not serving God, who is he serving?
I disagree.
All the saved will be converts.
I trow not, as in context it is written..."Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what...
Need? Display that faith by your deeds.
It wasn't meant to be an insult.
I am converted, and hope to remain faithful until the day of judgement.
It is written..."For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that...
There are already several that haven't endured that were written of in the bible.
Ananias and Sapphira were the first two that we know of.

Yes, but after his conversion I hope better for him.
Jesus...
I will be converted until the end, if I remain converted.
Yes.
You don't agree?
David had the atonements of the Mosaic Law for his sins.
I hope there was nothing else, that was not repented of, that was not written about that will cause his destruction on the day of judgement.
Don't you...
Nothing "earns" salvation.
But the unfaithful will never receive salvation.
It is written..."Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." (1 Cor 4:1-2)
And..."These shall...
I hope you can continue to display the results of that faith until you are called home.
I will allow God to make that call, without usurping His prerogative.
Nobody but me will be judged for my actions.
I can remain faithful, IF I remain in Christ.
I already have, thanks.
In Him I have everything I need for my salvation, including verses like..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not...
