The High Cost of Rebellion! (Numbers 16:1-18:32)

If our "holiness is complete in Christ Jesus after rebirth" how can our nature not be holy too? In fact, it is written..."Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Cor 5:17) The old nature was crucified with...

The High Cost of Rebellion! (Numbers 16:1-18:32)

You had me with you until you wrote "The only difference between the Holiness of God and the holiness of repentant man is that "our" holiness is lacking," How is a man who has turned from sin and been reborn of God's seed unholy? After our rebirth, His holiness is our holiness.

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

I agree with your post. God's benevolent gifts are available to all, but not all will partake of them. For some, the cost is just too high.

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

Agreed, and love for sin above a love for God. He did die for them, if they too will die "in Christ". (Rom 6:3-5..." Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was...

    Is death just another life?

Don't you think it was the devil that deceived Judas? "Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them." (Luke 22:3-4)

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

I don't agree that we have no part to play in our own conversion and salvation. I do agree with that, but not all men will serve God, (or anybody besides themselves) If we refuse to submit to God, it can't be considered a conversion, and the unconverted will not be saved on the day of judgement.

    End of Roe Vs Wade?

    Isn't that the truth.

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

The "purging" is available to all men, but not all men want it, as it requires something on our part.

Your insinuation then, is that the Word didn't exist.

Are you now an apologist for the Russian dis-information bureau? Or are you selling shares in an ice factory?

Agreed. It was all about covetousness.

    Ukraine Crisis

Yes they did, along with the Russians, at first. But in 2014 and 2022 the Russians are doing the attacking.

    "The Divinity of Christ"

You are not writing in Greek. Proper names are capitalized here and now, and the Word was a being worthy of such an honor.

Duh. That is the point I am making to Jefferson.

    Ukraine Crisis

Yes, and Russia did the attacking in 2014.

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

Christ did die for them, but their refusal to submit to Him nullifies any good thing they could have participated in.

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

But people aren't on the cross with Christ for their purging until they are water baptized into Christ, and into His death and burial. (Rom 6:3-4) "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into...
