The approach I'm taking with DR is to stick pretty closely to what can be drawn straight from the text of the law, because it is awfully hard to pin him down on anything that is subject to even a little bit of interpretation. But, I agree that all of those things are important, perhaps indispensable reasons for marriage. I may end up using them if I can get him to recognize a few simple things.
