It was 20 years ago but It was my first experience with any forum so I would remember. For you I was just another Catholic causing trouble. We did have a nice exchange but others would jump in and disrupt it.

You guys seem afraid of girls. My family goes to Mass with me because I am a man. I do not go to Mass because I'm afraid of my wife. That's more of a Boomer thing. Which is a very concerning problem for the Church—it means there are WAY less Catholics than you think.¹ They just go because their wives want them to go. My family goes because I go—is how it works in my house. Because that's how patriarchy works. The opposite of patriarchy, is feminism. And that's what you guys are. As a generation. You're feminists. Your leader is Hillary Clinton. And Donald is the Boomer jailbreak, which is all Boomers, who secretly didn't go along with the bull skubalon, but who also didn't try to fix the problem.
We go to Mass because we're men. Our family comes with us because of patriarchy—or haven't you read? that the strongest predictor of whether when a child grows up, he continues to go to Mass, all on his own, as an adult and for his whole life? is whether his DAD went to Mass, every time? It had nothing to do with what his mom did. It was only what his DAD did, that mattered.

Anyway, it's like Peewee said, you guys "don't DESERVE any reward." I agree with you. Why should we all have to pay for you guys's shallow foresight? You should have encouraged bigger families, you should have practiced patriarchy, but you didn't, you reap what you sow. You don't get luxury acommodations; you get budget; you get economy. We'll take care of you, ofc, but on a shoestring—you guys failed us, largely; certainly way more than you should have. Apparently, the only people who are afraid of girls, are BOOMERS; boomer men.

I agree with this but most of the guys went along with it. Two incomes with no kids was the new American dream. The only problem was no grandchildren. No one warned us about that.
I can only guess but I do remember a thread I started about common ground. I was trying to list the things that most of use would agree with. No one was interested and most didn't want to admit that they agreed on anything especially with a Catholic.

Doubling the workforce to suppress wages was the dream of employers.

I have no idea what I said then but, right now, I'd say that while Catholics share more in common with the rest of Christianity than not (i.e. doctrinally, historically, and structurally), the differences that do exist are very substantial and in many cases completely irreconcilable.
Oh yes! All the employers everywhere were just clamoring to get women into the work force!

Not so. Way too many DON'T GET IT, no "seem" about it. Today's Gospel reading: who goes away justified? The one who said, "Have mercy on me, A SINNER." You have to REPENT. You have to HUMBLE YOURSELF, otherwise, there's no doubt about it, you do NOT get it.
