Does one run for PM? Or does your party run, and if you're the party chief, and your party wins, then you get to PM? I don't know the Canadian system.

Is there a president in Canada? Some democracies have both a PM and a president, like France, while others just have one or the other.

Russia has both but really they're not a democracy and Putin's the king of the Russians.
