Ivermectin for covid 19

U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), who is also a doctor with decades of experience treating patients, said Louisiana residents who want to avoid dying from COVID-19 should take the vaccine — not the dewormer ivermectin.

"While the vaccine is almost entirely effective at preventing death, ivermectin clearly is not," Cassidy said Tuesday. "Don't fool yourself into thinking that it is as effective as the vaccine is in preventing death."

There's no evidence to support the notion that ivermectin is effective at treating COVID-19, and when taken in large doses, the anti-parasitic can even be dangerous.

"I have personal experience with people who refused the vaccine who took ivermectin who died," Cassidy said. The vast majority of people dying from COVID-19 are unvaccinated, including 84% of deaths during the last week of August.

The drug hasn't been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in treating COVID and clinical trials into its effectiveness are ongoing. Still, its gained a foothold among a cadre of fringe doctors and amplified on social media as an early intervention.

The flurry of falsehoods led the Louisiana Department of Health to issue a memo on Aug. 25 "strongly" recommending against the use of ivermectin to treat or prevent COVID.

The only way you're going to get "natural immunity" is by getting COVID-19. If you survive it, that is. By getting vaccinated, you have a good chance of bypassing that whole process.
Sorry, wrong again. Most people have already gotten infected, and thus have natural immunity. Whatever its efficacy, the vaccine is too little, too late.

Tell that to Bob Enyart and to the thousands of other unvaccinated people who continue to die from COVID-19.

🥱 Your silly attempts to get an angry reaction are getting old. You're either a troll or blissfully ignorant. Feel free to continue the conversation when you're ready to make an argument instead of just copying and pasting from "teh expertz"

Interesting isn't it that Uttar Padesh, India's most populous state, was just declared coronavirus free. They have "vaccinated" only 5% of their population, and relied entirely on ivermectin. You know thst drug thst the

Ironic that the most "vaccinated" nations on earth are having the highest rates of infections and deaths. Even the CDC has given up on claiming the "vaccines" stop both transmission and infections. So has Phizer.

If we must choose to call a doctor "science personified" then let's call doctors like this "science personified" and not government-paid fat cat quacks like Fauci scientifically literate.

the Southern Brazilian city of Itajai offered Ivermectin as a prophylaxis against the disease.
Between July and December of 2020, roughly 220,000 people were offered a dose of 0.2mg/kg/day (roughly 18mg for a 200lb person) as an optional treatment for 2 days, once every two weeks

133,051 people took them up on it, while 87,466 did not.

After analyzing the data, a team of researchers spanning several Brazilian institutes, the University of Toronto, and Columbia's EAFIT concluded in a December pre-print study that hospitalization and mortality rates were cut in half over the seven month period among the Ivermectin group.
