ROMANS 2:1 WILL THE GOOD BE SAVED?

You are such a gospel perverter it is sickening. I'm not sure why slimeballs like you continue to be allowed to be here when you represent the devil. If this were my site you would have gotten the Pauline boot a long time ago!

Well, this site has many people of many different beliefs.

Here is what Paul preached to Jews, Greeks, and Gentiles:
Paul preached repent of sins too.

2 Corinthians 12:21 I am afraid that when I come again, my God may humiliate me before you, and I will grieve for many of those who previously sinned and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced.

Acts 26:20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles also, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.

Acts 17:30 Therefore, although God has overlooked such times of ignorance, he now commands all people everywhere to repent,

Acts 20:21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

That is just too confusing.

No one has their sins taken away until they come to Jesus, repent of their sins, and have faith that his blood shed on the cross washes those sins away.

2 Corinthians 5:20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Be reconciled is proof that no one is until they come to Jesus in repentance and faith.
Believing the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). No works of ours have anything to do with it (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7). You hate that so much! Because of that, you oppose yourself. You are an enemy of the cross.

Faith does not always produce good works, if it did, we would not be warned.
There are people who say all they have to do is believe.

John 5:39 (ESV): You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me.

2 Timothy 3:15 (ESV): and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

I guess you just don't want to include these verses. Ok👌

Those scriptures don't say everyone with faith have works.

You don't reply to what I said about being warned to not just have faith.

Just because someone has faith it does not mean they will have works.

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

James 2:22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.

James 2:24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Peter says that, he warns us to obey. See 2 Peter 3:16, and 17.

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.

James 1:22 Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves.

John 8:31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

John 13:17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

James 1:25
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it--not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it--they will be blessed in what they do.

Philippians 4:9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Luke 11:28 He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."

...and many more.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

All of your purification talk is made up. Salvation by grace is the gift of God through the faith OF Jesus Christ. It is not of ourselves. It is not of works. You would have us work to get saved and/or to stay saved with all of your obedience talk, but you'll never lay it out and tell us what specifically we need to obey. You just claim you're doing it. Some of us see right through you.

Jesus laid down his life for his friends. We have to be his friend in order for his death to be for us.

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

Paul asks us to be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf:Be reconciled to God.

Not everyone is made perfect and holy from what Jesus did; we have to come to him to be made perfect and holy. We come to him to confess and repent and have faith.

Hebrews 10:14 because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy
Hebrews 12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
Hebrews 2:11 Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.
John 17:19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified
1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

How do we enter the covenant of Jesus' blood, Jesus' blood that washes away the repentance sins? We have to hear about it and believe that we have to come to Jesus and repent our sins to him and believe that his blood washes us clean.

Acts 26:20
First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

Acts 20:21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

That's what it means to come to the cross.

The cross is where the blood. is.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Purification works are a real thing, it is what separated the Jews from the Gentiles.

Salvation by grace is the gift of God through the faith OF Jesus Christ. It is not of ourselves. It is not of works.

The 'not or ourselves' means we no longer do the works to purify us, Jesus does it.

People did right by not sinning, AND they had to purify themselves.

You would have us work to get saved and/or to stay saved with all of your obedience talk, but you'll never lay it out and tell us what specifically we need to obey. You just claim you're doing it. Some of us see right through you.

I tell you easily and with joy what Jesus says to do to get saved.

We are to repent of our sins and call on him.

When you think you have truth to defend your beliefs, let me know and we can debate. Personal attacks and rudeness has overtaken your posts. People who don't have truth to defend their beliefs usually resort to that.
So, rather than actually read my post (and who knows... maybe even learn something) you decided to throw another stone. Okay. Whatever.

Aimiel, that post of mine you replied to, it was something written before the one asking if we can just make up.

You're an idiot. We weren't the Lord's friends when He went to the cross for us.

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Not everyone is made perfect and holy from what Jesus did; we have to come to him to be made perfect and holy. We come to him to confess and repent and have faith.
The formula for us for salvation and a seal is Ephesians 1:13!

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

We don't "enter" any "covenant". We are partakers of Christ BY THE GOSPEL!

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

And again, the formula for our salvation is Ephesians 1:13! No work on our part is involved!

Jesus laid down his life for the sins of the whole world, but no one receives that grace until you become his friend, and you are his friend if you do what he says.

That scripture doesn't support your argument.
That scripture is about GENTILES being UNcircumcised ENEMIES and Jesus still saving us.

Here are scriptures that explain what I just said:

Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

Ephesians 2:11 Therefore remember that formerly you who are Gentiles in the flesh and called uncircumcised by the so-called circumcision (that done in the body by human hands)— 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

It means Jesus saved us UNCIRCUMCISED ENEMIES when we repented to God through him, and he did NOT make us get circumcised first.

Those who are saved are those who have a relationship with Jesus.

We have to do what Jesus says to do in order to get saved.

Jesus tells us how to become an heir, a disciple, a relative, and a friend.

This is what he says how to be blessed as a disciple, a mother or sister or brother, this is how to be a friend---

Luke 11:28 He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."

Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

John 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
