ROMANS 2:1 WILL THE GOOD BE SAVED?

Hello Heir, long time no see.

I would like to say that Jesus' words are forever and for all.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--

The point (which stands even though you want to change the subject) is that our salvation by grace through faith is not of ourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest GT boasts of herself claiming she saves herself by enduring to the end in her self righteousness. If you can so much as move your little finger to save yourself in the dispensation of the grace of God, you make God a liar and His grace work.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
...

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Read these scriptures, Jesus tells us that ANYONE who loves him will OBEY and THEN he will live with you.

Paul says the message of salvation is to God-fearing Gentiles.

Paul also says we have to call on Jesus.

We have to have faith.

Paul says we have to die to sins.

He also says Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord MUST TURN AWAY FROM WICKEDNESS.

He says repent and prove our repentance.

So we have to have faith, fear God, obey, call on Jesus, die to sins, confess his name and turn from wickedness, and repent of our sin.

John 14:23 Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Acts 13:26 "Fellow children of Abraham and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

Romans 10:13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “the Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

Acts 26:20First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

Acts 20:21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

Acts 15:8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us.

What a completely twisted and distorted view and perverted gospel (which is not good news at all) based on a corrupted word of God you have there. Not only do you use fake bibles, but you twist them to your own destruction as I would expect one who opposes themselves and an enemy of the cross like you to do.

I gave many scriptures where Paul tells us what to do to get saved.
No, you didn't. Paul did not contradict himself (Ephesians 2:4-9)

Titus 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

No, you didn't.

Yes, I did give scriptures of Paul telling us things to do to get saved.

Acts 13:26 "Fellow children of Abraham and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

Romans 10:13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “the Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.

Acts 15:8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us.

Paul did not contradict himself (Ephesians 2:4-9)

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Ephesians 1:13.

Titus 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done,
Those works are the purification works the Jews used to have to do.
but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Jesus tells us how to be heirs.
We have to do what he says to do to be an heir.

Reconciled is saved.
No, it’s not. The world is not saved and yet...

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
...

2 Corinthians 5:
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

God fixed it so He could be nice to the world! Who were we? We were God’s enemies (Romans 5:10 KJV) but look what God did for us 2000 years ago!

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Everyone in the world can be a partaker of Christ by the gospel when they trust the Lord after hearing and believing the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation; how that Christ died for our sins and that he was buried and rose again the third day as declared in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4!

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

We have to do what he says to do to be an heir.
We are fellowheirs and of the same body (beginning with Paul 1 Timothy 1:16) and partakers of God’s promise in Christ BY THE GOSPEL (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 3:6). The gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth (Romans 1:16) . That’s believing something not doing something.

You don't believe any one bible anyway so it's pointless. I'm really speaking past you in hopes that someone in need of the gospel and the knowledge of the truth will receive the love of the truth through the pure words of the Lord presented in my posts. I believe you are blinded by the god of this world because of your unbelief (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) and unless and until you acknowledge of the truth you will remain taken captive of Satan at his will (2 Timothy 2:26).

No, GT, it's not.

Words have meaning, and reconciled does not mean saved.

Reconcile means "restore friendly relations between." do you truly believe that "saved" means the same?

When someone is saved, they have the Spirit of God in them, and God puts us in Him, and that is salvation, it is reconciliation.

No, it’s not. The world is not saved and yet...
Yet? When is the world going to be saved?

No one is saved/reconciled to God until they come to Jesus with faith that is not dead.
2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Jesus only does that to those who come to him in faith and repentant of sins.

Not sure how you can say Jesus doesn't hold unrepentant faithless people's sins against them.

All are condemned until they come to Jesus in faith and repentance. of sins.

He did it so all can be saved, if they do it the way he says to do it.
Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
When they come to Jesus' blood, which means repent of their sins and believe his blood washes those sins away.

Everyone in the world can be a partaker of Christ by the gospel when they trust the Lord after hearing and believing the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation; how that Christ died for our sins and that he was buried and rose again the third day as declared in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4!

But you have been saying we are all already reconciled to God.

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
Jesus tells us how to be an heir. We have to do what Jesus says to do to be an heir.

Yet? When is the world going to be saved?
You said reconciled is saved, but 2 Corinthians 5:19 took place for the world by the cross. That is when world reconciliation happened, but the world is not saved.

It's pretty simple...

All of the world's sins were in the future when God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself not imputing their trespasses unto them!

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

All of our sins were in the future when Christ was delivered for our offences, and was raised again the third day for our justification.

Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Christ died for our sins!

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The man Christ Jesus gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Now, trust the Lord believing 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 as the means of salvation and be saved!

Nope. They are not synonymous.

No one is reconciled to Jesus until they are saved.

This scripture shows that reconciled and saved go together.

Romans 5:10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

That is just too confusing.

No one has their sins taken away until they come to Jesus, repent of their sins, and have faith that his blood shed on the cross washes those sins away.

2 Corinthians 5:20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Be reconciled is proof that no one is until they come to Jesus in repentance and faith.
