ECT Two different gospels? One for the circumcisions and another for the uncircumcision?

I asked ELo this in another thread, but I will ask it here as well for Cross Reference...

Question for you my friend....Why would God send Paul to Jerusalem by special revelation to make known his gospel to the twelve if they already knew it and were the first to receive it?

The apostle Paul was leading from the front.

However that does not mean that other apostles and prophets were not also learning about this new age, the age of grace.

Ephesians 3:5 apostles and prophets, God was teaching many, but it was Paul that was given the responsibility to write it down as an eternal record

But those apostlesr you cite were not the 12, and the prophets you cite were not the "OT" prophets.

before Jesus did what He did
no one could be saved
no one

Genesis 4:7 "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it."

Here's my response from that thread:

Paul went to Jerusalem to oppose the doctrine of circumcision being taught by certain men (Acts 15:1-2). That teaching was in opposition to Paul's teaching that the circumcision of the heart was the antitype of flesh circumcision (Ro 2:29). He seemed to be intent on correcting their understanding of the one gospel. There is no other gospel where circumcision is required, right?

People were saved before Jesus was crucified. Consider for example that Moses and Elijah were saved when they appeared to Christ prior to his crucifixion.

The apostles and prophets of Ephesians 3:5 are apostles and prophets that lived in this age of grace.

Since 11 of the original twelve chosen by Jesus the anointed did live in this age of grace that would include those 11

Since, Ephesians 4:11 lists five ministries, and Ephesians 3:5 lists only apostles and prophets, we could ask if evangelists and pastors and teachers were figuratively included in those that the mystery was being revealed to.

What do you think? How do you read that?

Hi and in the Body of Christ , there are no Husbands or wifes as Gal 3:28 reveals as there are NEITHER Male nor Female !!

Gal 2:7 shows 2 Gospels , BUT it does not call " THE CIRCUMCISION " a Gospel in the Greek Text .

Paul's is called the Gospel of " the Un-circumcision " for the Gentiles !

Peter's is called " the Circumcision " for Jews only !!

The Greek article " the " separates the two and makes them SPECIFIC to a certain Gospel .

Gal 3:8 the Gospel was given to Abram , and NOT to Abraham , as the Greek yext has it !

Then in Rev 14:6-7 we have a Judgment Gospel , called the " everlasting Gospel !!

At this point we have 4 Gospels !!

dan p

from curiosity,,In Rev.14;6-7,an angel has an Gospel,"To be preached",,,now in Galatians 1;8 we are told that no other Gospel should be preached other than that delivered "then",and if another(man or angel),"preach any other Gospel",,other than the Gospel delivered(then),,then the man or angel is to say,,,"let them be accursed".

So in Rev. 14;6-7,,,is this a completely different Gospel(from the one Paul is speaking of in Galatians)?,,,why if we have been taught,"the Gospel",for almost 2000 years do we need to have an angel preach to us the Gospel? Did we receive the Gospel then, and year after year drift away from it and so in the end it is necessary to re-teach the same?,,,

but then if the Gospel taught in times past is lost in understanding bit by bit and mankind only holds a glimpse of the Gospel then delivered, well then shall an angel then have the everlasting Gospel "to be preached",and shall the angel then be perceived as delivering another, different Gospel other than the Gospel of which Paul speaks of in Gal.1;8?

Before Jesus Christ finished his works, salvation was available but it was by works, it was not a gift.

But that salvation by works was very limited in comparison to the salvation made available by Jesus Christ.

The gift of salvation in this age of grace is huge

Madists insist there is more than one gospel...

so tell us why Jesus had to suffer and die
if
it was possible to be saved before

There could be no salvation without the shed blood of Jesus Christ being applied to anyone__before the cross or after the cross.

Why don't you want to receive that truth except it would violate your cult doctrine??????

What does that from God to Cain have to do with being accepted back into His Presence as Adam experienced before he sinned??

You might now want to ask why Adam was kicked out of the garden; separated from any possibility of eating of the tree of life that would have glorified him?

That is NOT the reason Paul made his FIRST trip that was purposed to convince Peter & co. his salvation was for real. You can't be serious that at that point in time, Paul would have dared to have any kind of an argument with Peter to set him straight.

Why suppose they were sent from heaven when paradise, the abode of the dead of the righteous, was still functioning as the "holding tank" for those who died with only the promise of messiah Who would set them free to enter into the actual presence of God formerly barred to them because of Adam's transgression?

Having said that, lets consider this:

God did not take away Cain's [man's] ability to make a living for himself. i.e., if "fallen" man will seek God for his life, the ground the he cultivates God will water and fallen man will prosper [do well] by being in the favor of God. In this it must be remembered the unjust man will also prosper because falling rain [rising mist] is non-discrimatory.

Most certainly looking forward to the Messiah had its rewards, Acts 2:25-26 Their hope was the coming of the Messiah, the one who would be like Moses, the one who would bruise the head of the serpent. Genesis 3:15

As usual, where is your chapter and verse?

You assume you have learned and teach scripture, but rarely do you provided evidence, ie, scripture.

If you believe scripture is true, you might want to demonstrate that by supplying some once in a while.

Oh, by the way, until the price was paid, our redemption was only a promise, not a reality

To understand why MAD wackos say that the gospel of uncircumcision and the gospel of circumcision are different, please study what God said to Abraham while he was in each state.

I have a question in reference to Galatians 1:6, in which Paul states that there is "another gospel." My question is, is Paul referring to "the gospel of the circumcision" in this passage?
